Paid for an item today that I won yesterday and got the 5X points so seems to count when you pay

Well, I've just tried it again, and although it shows the 5x points on the checkout page (as it did with the 10x points in July), it's marked the transaction date as 24/08/17 on my ebay nectar page, with just the base points shown. Same for you? Definitely not expecting to receive the bonus points.

They do these promotions every now and then. Not everything is a conspiracy. That said, the timing (right before payday) is stupid.

25 Aug 17#49
They do promos like this every bank holiday weekend, nothing to do with the daily fail... always hold purchase you need till a bank holiday weekend if one is coming up, if you want to maximize points, be it 5x or 10x

Never works for me and I doubt it will this time. When I clicked on OP deal link, I've got a screen stating "thank you, blah blah blah 5x Nectar points activated" but when I click "see offer details on My eBay" link it opens my sellers page with no details what so ever. Only ever worked for me when I actually got an email form eBay them selves for this kind of promotion, which I have not received...

I didn't get an email but it worked for me when I went to my nectar account. You click on the "Visit website" button in the offer in your Nectar account. This is under the "Offers" section on your homepage if your using the app. Hope this helps. Sorry if you've already done this and I've misunderstood your post.

Christ alive, how sad. The Wail haters. Poor pathetic lonely souls.
Telling me and everyone to cut up their Nectar cards because of a link up with the Wail?
I collect and spend the points regardless.
Tell you what, you give me your points, I'll readily accept them!
Makes you wonder if it's just trolls who in reality don't even have a Nectar card at all? Imagine, having a card with a couple hundred quid's worth of points and 'cutting' it up! As said, poor pathetic lonely souls. :stuck_out_tongue:

I've not told you to do anything mate. I've just donated £40 of nectar points to Oxfam and closed it. No need to throw insults around because someone has a different pov is there? I happen to disagree with the editorial that the Daily Mail puts out. I find it divisive and at times, repugnant on matters of race and religion. I also disagree with their continual body shaming / objectification. These are my opinions and that is why I won't support Nectar anymore. Again, I'm not passing opinion on anyone's individual choice.

This didn't work for me with the 10x promotion on the 14th-15th July. Even though it showed 10x the points at checkout, the transaction registered on my ebay nectar page as 13/07/17 and I didn't actually receive the 10x points (well over 28 days later now). I'm in the same position again; just won an auction this morning! :disappointed: Only difference is Iast time it was a best offer on a buy-it-now auction and this time it's a winning bid on a standard auction, so worth trying again I suppose.

Hi. I got an invitation from ebay 23-01sep to sell 10 items for free,no any fees. I know this is not related with the subject here, but would appreciate your reply. So i signed in the invitation and posted 3 new items for sale, but the problem is they not appear in this invitation and only in another one no insertion fee for 3 months. I got selling limit of £4000 and i am above standard. I did not used this username, so no purchases or sells on it. Does anybody knows why my items for sell are not signing in this promotions?Usually the number of the ad appears in the promotion, but now it shows 0 of 10 and i did published 3 until now. Thanks

This happened to me last month, I contacted them and they told me it was technical problems and to contact them again when I was charged and if my invoice was wrong. Make sure you activate it and take a screen shot of it as being active in the box at the bottom of screen, also notify them of the problem

Can anyone remind me whether this kicks in on sales that end within the offer period or on payments that are completed in that period? (e.g. payment on a purchase of which the auction ends tonight?)
