One of these appeared on Amazon earlier this morning at £21.99 - might be worth watching out for if you're still looking for one.

This was the first thing i spotted ... don't think I have large enough wrists.
Probably a 38-44 would suit me better.. . . maybe like this Rolex two tone Datejust

I have the solar powered Casio ECW-M300EDB-1AER Edifice. Purchased in June 2012, still going strong and never opened up. They charge under ambient light conditions.

I never cease to be amazed how much one gets for one's money when it comes to manufactured items. This watch is a really good example: it is a technological marvel for about £20. I am tempted to buy one (there is stock available in Corby and in Kettering), but I really can't justify another watch, even at only £20. I've added some heat - if I could think of even the odd occassion when this might be useful I'd buy it.

Strap this to your ankle and gain instant street cred by pretending you're wearing an electronic tag.

I bought a casio watch for my brother last year as I thought casio was a decent brand but it was very poor quality to be honest. I won't be buying another casio watch again.

All casios must be awful then since your brothers broke. Let me see whether Casio share prices have plummeted since your announcement to never buy one again.

it looked good but it looked cheap. the button did not work properly to change the date and then it fell out! if that is not poor quality, i don't know what is. casio should not make watches of such poor quality if they are a good brand name.

That's unheard of Casio. You must have got a cheap duplicate one, always buy from trusted sites.

Yea that sounds like rubbish. Casio minimum quality levels are higher than that although they have such a large range there are some at the lower end I wouldn't recommend. They have some watches that have metal looking plastic parts where the body joins the band and if they're treated really poorly they can break. My only poor experience with a Casio branded watch was a knock off from ebay it looked 100% real but only cost 99 pence...
I've a couple Casio solar waveceptors that only cost around £90 each around 5 years ago and they're going fine still.

That's a fantastic price, casio watches are pretty good and value for money.

I've got a Casio solar, it is a much more expensive model but it's brilliant! Don't think you could really grumble for the price.
