Brilliant deal if you happen to have a Unidays account (or know a kind person willing to give you a code, OR if you're a renegade willing to sign up to a cheap online course to spoof your way through)
Current £25 off canon promotion is applied automatically at the checkout,
Cheapest /simplest I could find it without the unidays code would be from Amazon which would ultimately work out at £174 when the cashback came through
Let me know if anyone wants mine. £156 plus p&p. If no interest then i'll just send it back to canon.

Anyone else got a spare code I could use please?
PM would be appreciated, thanks!

A 10-18 isn't particularly useful for anything, especially @ f/4.5-5.6. Save your money for the 16-35 @ f/4

This is a good budget wide angled lens. You're recommending something that costs 11x this?

I assume you are new to photography...I was thinking the same, till I got my 10-20mm...easily within my top 5 most useful lenses, always put it first in my bag.

Yes, new to photography, and I already know more than you.
How do you get this price? It's 212 on the website and 15% won't bring to this price?

I am thinking the same.

The £25 cashback expired yesterday and the unidays code was only worth 15% as a temporary special rate.

Just beware if you want to focus to infinity in mf mode at night time,it is very hit and miss. This is because the focus ring keeps rotating round and round and has no markers for infinity. (all the way to infinity and a touch back is not possible with this lens)

Good entry level wide angle lens, could have been a bit faster although that would have added weight. You can take very sharp images with these. I used to own one untill I got the Tokina 11-20 which is a lot bulkier but a few notches above in terms of performance.
