I use inks from Go Inks they are cheap and very reliable, I've never had any issues with them

Depending on how much ink come with the printer, it mite be cheaper to buy 10 printers or so and trow them away when you run out of ink :relaxed:

I'm after a cheap multifunction printer that can use cheap compatible inks. I've currently got an Epson XP-325 which uses cheap £1 a go compatibles but it's satring to fail on me
I've had a look around and cannot find one, any advice, not looking to spend more than £50-60 Thanks

Try the Canon Pixma TS5050. It has £20 cashback from Canon just now bringing it under £50 and compatibles are around £15 a set of 7. amazon.co.uk/dp/…8-3
On Amazon at £60 and worth every penny however there's one at £41 Amazon warehouse deals
I've just ordered another 3 sets of inks for mine 12 cartridge in total for under £5 delivered from eBay

It's completely daft that this 'deal' has reached over 400 degrees then! HUKD is often not very rational, though.

the thing about some modern printers the cost of replacement ink can be really high so best to check model of printer before you buy

I would recommendation Epson L355 all in one printer. Yes it is expensive but the ink is really cheap around £9.00. The L355 offers a ultra low-cost per page for both black and colour printing. It comes with around two years’ worth of ink in the box, that's enough ink to print up to a massive 4,000 pages in black and 6,500 pages in colour, without needing to change an ink cartridge.

Is it £9 for genuine ink and is that a multi cartridge or are they seperate please?

The refill ink are separate 70ml bottle. black, yellow, cyan and magenta. Original cost around £9-10. You can go for 3rd party ink but with the ink price that cheap and last you long, I would stick to the original. They do last a long while.

That printer seems to cost about £180 which seems to be worth a mention!

be careful here £28.00 for the inks from tesco and these seem to be quite peculiar with non original carts at least the one i saw last night was.

Agree with you, I'm still using a Canon MX that I bought a few years ago, good printer but inks are very pricey (more expensive than the cost of the printer). Have tried some generic "guaranteed to work" inks and they have been a pain in the rear, cartridges not recognised and have to fiddle about resetting, removing cartridge and putting back in to get a couple of pages to print!
