Aegean are opening a route from Gatwick to Athens next year. Combined with a very limited dates 40% off deal ( no need for code it's included in prices already) and slow uptake as yet there are a few seats in Business around the 20-23 March. Could be some February as well.
Book via Monondo/skyjet.uk @ 132.00; or straight via Aegean for a tenner more @ 143.00-ish
Update ( forgot): Gets you access to their business lounge at Gatwick.

Weird comment. Desperate for what exactly? Have HUKD started paying deal posters or something?

Bit pointless I'll be honest. Aegean is an excellent airline but the seats are normal economy seats with the one on the middle simply not allocated. So you don't get any more legroom or a bigger seat but food is better, you get cutlery, nicer drinks and better service.

The 'point' is the price. No I wouldn't bother when this flight costs about 400.00 but at this price it's not much more than Easyjet from Gatwick on the same route with much better travel times. This is a deals site.

Business class for a 3 hour flight?

Cold because people that will book this want to pretend being rich, which is pathetic.

So you'd rather be squashed into a cheerless easyjet seat without enough room to choke down your 5 quid cheese and ham toastie instead then?
OK.

lol you do know business class on short flights are more premium economy type seats as opposed to actual business class.

The reason there are these few pearls for the new route is because Aegean have not yet put Gatwick as a search option on their website yet so not on other flight search engines yet apart from momondo. Aegean business to Athens usually costs at least double this even with early booking. There are 3 seats left 22 March morning flight 11.30. Then some more 154.00 later in the day.

Aegean are really nice to fly with and as this price is only roughly 25.00 more than easyjet would cost for a legroom seat and a hold bag it's a steal. For me the very civilised flight times mean I can save 40.00 on the taxi I'd have to get to the airport for easyjet and get the train instead so will actually be better off.
It's a bit limited obviously and will probably go fast. It'd be nice for a little jaunt to Athens and warm enough next March to be nice weather wise. Got to sort out your returns though but economy is pretty cheap and you still get a meal and drinks even then.
