Does anyone else have a squeeky strap?
Will it go away after wearing for a while?

Same here. Collected mine today. I was half expecting it to be out of stock / missing / damaged when I arrived at store to collect so just in case I had another one reserved at the Hyde store... If anybody is interested the reservation should be released at about 7pm this evening.

Very nice watch, like the blue face

Picked it up yesterday. Face a little on the small side as previously mentioned but very nice watch and the stainless steel strap is of very good quality. Bulova watches used to be on the expensive side but have come down in price dramatically. The 2 I bought for the missus were around £25 each on Argos Ebay and were also of excellent quality.
en.wikipedia.org/wik…ova for those who dont know about Bulova and yes this watch did retail at £249 which was the RRP. Way too expensive for this standard of watch. Hope no one bought one at that price.

Worth re-checking to see if it's back in stock even if it initially said OOS. I checked last night and apparently no stores in the West Midlands had any. However, checked again this morning and several local stores had it available for collection. Reserved to pick up this afternoon and just received an e-mail to say it's ready. Thanks OP

This is not fake news - the H Samuel store in Mansfield 4 seasons centre has what appears to be this watch in its Bulova window display priced as £249.99!
Yeap... other websites are selling it for DISCOUNTED price of £99. Thats including Amazon. :astonished:

Not heard of this make before is it a good one? Or more a seconda pulsar type
Very nice watch. Slightly smaller than I usually get but at a great price. Code worked online although most local stores oos and had to travel a little further.

Dont think I have ever in my life looked at the date feature on a watch although most of the watches I own have this. Its just not important. Looks like a really nice/readable watch face which is surely the most important factor.
Couldnt resist. Just bought one. Enter Jewel25 manually as copy and paste gives "invalid code". Price reduced to £36.74. Pay now only. You can always ask for a refund if you dont like it which is unlikely

Yes, still available for £36.74 if you can select the PAY NOW option.
Just tested it. But not available for me unless I travel 12 miles so not worth it

Why is the only review posted on that web page for a Citizen eco-drive watch?
DonDraper to willysnapper
3 Aug 17#30
Dunno. Bulova are now owned by Citizen but this isn't an eco-drive just a regular quartz. However I managed to find one today in Newark Notts. and it's a very nice quality everyday watch.
BTW Bulova is/was a long established US watch brand (est 1875) with several firsts in watch-making. They were second after Omega as the 'moon watch' however. Their main range is £200-£300.

I managed to reserve one at my local Argos, just been to collect it and was told that the code doesn't apply to watches, only jewellery, so paid £48.99, still a good price but disappointing

Code works if you use it online, ie - pre-pay for click and collect, so I suggest you go straight back and put them straight. Alternatively, order another, use code and get at discounted price and then take original price watch back when getting new one.

Yeap.... Its code to use online only. Or else I could have had extra 10% as wife's staff discount. Also came across this while on night shift probably thats the reason managed to buy one.

I had this also in store, but after I showed them the code working online the manager added the 25%.

I'm not wearing mine at the minute but it's not massive, I think it was 42mm including the bezel. I don't have monstrous arms and it suits really well!

Loving the Argos review of the watch "This is my 2nd Citizen eco-drive watch...." excellent find, can see its also being sold for £249 in another place, love Bulova but hate the packaging - got one that was £250 & it came in a cardboard box (like all of them do), to me it cheapens them, I know its to do with environment and such like, but, sad as it is, I like a decent box. Just got an Ingersoll in the Debenhams sale (yes I know its a Zeon in reality) that was £300, down to £150, £75 & I got it for £45 & thats in a wooden box, anyway enough of this talk of boxes, you buy it for the watch NOT the packaging - Great find OP
