Signed up to origin a week ago, good times! Can't wait to play this
Wonder if Sony still thinks it doesn't offer good value for customers

They'll tow that line until they pull the plug on PS Now. There'll be 5 upset customers when that happens :stuck_out_tongue:

As long as you got your entertainment worth out of it I wouldn't worry. But, if you bought the season pass then you got every right to feel robbed lol

Is the season pass on EA Access as well?
LJames96 to bodkelly

Nope. Its just not good value for money right now

So which is it? Season pass or not?

10 Aug 17#37
Not sure I understand what you mean but I'm sure EA Access does not include premium (season pass) for BF1. Albeit they do for BF4 so you may see that later down the road.
As for the premium, it is not worth it in its current state for BF1. Only one xpac has been released so far and most stick to the vanilla maps anyways
boabbyrab to DrBunker
10 Aug 17#41
No season pass, just the vanilla maps. All the DLC may end up in the vault the way Battlefront did but that was roughly 6 months after it came to the vault and all maps were out.

Season pass wont be included

It looks like EA XB1 games should be bought as physical media (if at all) and sold as soon as you get wind of it going into EA Access.

Agreed. Sold my hard copy of BF1 a while back without completing it, so glad to have the chance now via Access. On the other hand, I bought a digital copy of Titanfall 2 based on the lie that it wasn't going to be available on Access, and now it is
Hard copies of EA games in future, no matter what they say at the outset.

Good thing I didn't activate the key I got with my console purchase. Now to flog it on fleabay. I am terrible at these things. I had two keys for fifa 17 also that I never flogged. So stupid.

Careful selling keys as I've heard so many stories about them being activated then they claim they dont work etc.......

My faith in Sony is wobbling. EA access is a good thing and they are becoming money grubbing gibbons. Time to invest in a gaming pc

Built myself a budget gaming PC with the g4560 and Rx 480 about 6 months ago and never looked back, I was amazed how much better the same games were at 1080p compared to xbone and PS4.

Can anyone confirm how big the file plus likely huge update is for Battlefield 1 on Xbox One?
boabbyrab to pauledwardking1
10 Aug 17#46
43GB initial file size however i'm pretty sure with updates it takes it upto 55 GB (taking it from memory from a few weeks back when i updated both TF2 and this for when it came into the vault)
chapchap to boabbyrab
10 Aug 17#47
Yes I think about 60gb now. Big but beautiful.

Does this have a single player campaign or online multiplayer only?
sweeney287 to dr_spaceman

Yep. Probably takes 8 - 10 hours to complete.
It's a very polished game.

I only played the first hour but it's a very unique idea for single player. When you die your character dies and you "leap" - quantum leap style minus Al and Ziggy - into the body of another solider.
Very smart idea.

That really is amazing. Triple A title with no immediate successor planned AFAIK.
I am sure they hope to get people spending money on the DLC once hooked. Great game.

Is it true that if you cancel your Origin or EA Access that you can no longer play the games you get for free?

Was a question, so not obvious...

Yeah, otherwise people would just buy one month for £2 and have the huge catalogue for essentially nothing.

Appreciate you clarifying.
Will wait for a sale on Battlefield rather than subscribing.

It's already been around the £15ish mark and don't see it getting much cheaper. For a few quid more a year of Access is better as you will be getting a bigger library of games.
cmahey to 5Rivers79
10 Aug 17#25
With all due respect, it's inevitable it will get cheaper!
As I said before the Access is good, until you stop paying. So essentially you are leasing games.
If you play loads of games and have the time for it, well worth paying it.
I only play a few, so it would be a false economy.

I think it's probably about time to buy ea access. I already have battlefield one but I can see a price jump now that so many quality games have been added.
