I got mine too yesterday just reading the instruction Re:care it says "Dish washer safe Top Rack only" does that means the lid only?

Received mine today and made my first cup. Yes, there is a hole in it and only very tiny amount of grounds was managed to come out. Doesn't seem to be a very big problem. Hope this helps.

some of them leak into the inside of the cup. I have few from different sources and some leak inside some don't. still a great product, ta all!#

Mine has a hole, but it doesn't seem to cause any real problem. Sometimes there is a tiny bit of grounds in the bottom of the cup, but I just don't drink that last sip, so it's not a problem. I don't understand what people are doing to get large amounts of grounds in their cups, it's a bit odd.

Shame about the negative reviews about that hole that is unfiltered in the plunger. What's your experience of that?

Got mine a couple of days ago, no hole in the plunger. Maybe they've redesigned it? Amazon reviews are mysterious sometimes.

That's weird... I got mine today and it does... On the part you lift out, doesn't it have a little hole? Just above the filter on the "arm" you pull it in and out with?

Yup, mine had a hole in it. Bit of sanitary silicone to plug it, job done. Well worth the money.
