You need to post specs before this gets iced. Band 20 & SD card are my first 2 questions.

Just got offered a £5.99 voucher on the website for registering. So possibly even cheaper?

Rubbish battery is a real shame

For those with battery worries, the 625 is one of the most power efficient processor around.
You'll get a full day easily.
My P2 has the same chipset, excellent performance too.

Your P2 has double the battery capacity of this. Besides, the processor is power efficient but that's no good if the software running the phone isn't well put together. I would worry about battery life on this tbh

For phone addicts the battery may be too small. When I asked my wife how she likes her new phone, she was actually most impressed by the battery life In comparison with her 2yo Moto G3 she had until last week. When she let's our son play his racing games on it, instead of losing 30% of battery life, she loses half of that.

I'm a fan of the Zenfone and although my own has a few buggy moments I feel I get brilliant value from mine.
I would 100% buy another one again though I feel a case is imperative as mine was a bit slippy in my hand. I have a seriously cracked screen but despite having a few HTC's as potential replacements I am sticking with my Laser.

Having bought the Asus_Z00AD 15 months ago I was quite impressed but in the last couple of months it's been a nightmare. The battery drops from 30% to 0% in a matter of seconds and it continually has ghost touches (Google "ghost asus"). The ghost touching seems to be a common problem across the zenfone range. And to add insult to injury there is no UK support. You have to send it to Italy to get it fixed. I'm awaiting a new phone. Cold from me!

There are not many phones under £200 with OIS and EIS and band 20

There's no way you're going to risk buying one though, are you?

I love my ZenFone 2. But I can't recommend because whilst these phones fly, the ghost touches have now affected my phone. Problem appears with most newer models. I love everything about the phone but they just don't last.

180 quid is coming too dangerously close to Xiaomi mi5/ZUK Z2 PRO/ZUK Edge territory for my liking....

Shame about the ghost touch issues. I would have gone for this if it didn't have that design fault. From painful experience, Asus support is terrible so not worth getting involved.

No, just seems a good buy. Some good reviews. Now that the Zenfone 4 is out, prices will drop further im sure.
