Did you try press and holding down the individual sections of the spinner they are buttons to switch LEDs on/off each press activates various types of flashing LEDs displays, but you will have to switch them off when you've finished playing!

Authorised payment of 8p via PayPal, sent me back to the site to confirm where the price had gone back to normal. Figured they couldn't charge me more than the paypal page had already authorised, but no. Charged full price. Have requested a full refund. Posting this in case it happens to anyone else.
