I used that EU thingy with KwikFit a while back, it's pathetic since the Seller can close the case as Resolved without the Buyer having any say-so...

Unfortunately I paid through Paypal on that occasion. I actually raised a dispute through the paypal resolution section but Adidas basically just ignored that for weeks on end like they ignored my requests via phone and email initially. Had I paid for it on Amex like I do most things, I would have just disputed it with Amex and then forgot about it and waited for the refund.

I even opened an "EU Online Dispute" with the European Commission website on July 4th. What is even more hilarious is that an Adidas rep only responded to this EU online dispute on Aug 08 (circa 1 month and 4 days after I opened it!!!) at which point it had already been refunded by Adidas several days prior. Just goes to show how appalling their internal communication is.

Just saved myself and the wife 160 quid in total. Would rather think about that than how much I spent!

No, ordered to home address. I also phoned UPS and asked if I could contact the local depot shown on the tracking info and their exact words were: "we dont have a phone number for the depot's so we cant contact them" :thinking:
But based on what transpired it sounded like they had completely lost the package anyway.
I was more annoyed with Adidas though in what almost felt like a refusal to refund my money even though the tracking info clearly showed the items were never delivered.

They are a joke - When they eventually sent me a returns label it was for the Republic of Ireland (I live in the North) - they took another 3-4 weeks to process a refund and their eventually apology (for about 5-6 mess ups - i.e. referring to me as "Dear Mr AUK12347" (The bloody order number!!) - Will never buy anything from Adidas again, was tempted to drop everything I had of theirs at a charity shop, but I'll just boycott them from now on. And I totally agree with the person saying they inflate the prices before these "sales".

I had a similar experience with them, their customer is absolutely terrible! - It took me many weeks to eventually get a refund on 1 item (which bloody fell apart in the first wash!) - and about 30 emails! - They don't give a damn about customer service, I'd been buying Adidas gear for over 30 years, I'll never buy from them again (at the end they tried to offer me a 20% discount - I didn't even reply to the email).

Did you order to a collect+ shop? I ordered stuff from a Reebok sale (but as stated, it's really adidas), to local collect+, but they cocked up the address somehow, didn't have that it was a shop or collect+ on the label and no house number (obviously, because I selected their collect+ option). Anyway, no notifications re delivery but used the courier tracking to find it was returned to courier depot as undelivered. Very inconvenient trip to the depot rather than across the road to the shop.

Another con by adidas.co.uk. Most of this stuff was 50% off pre 25% extra off and now it's gone to 30% off.

Prices way too high I have an outlet nearby and I usually go in to check bargains, there's a trouser says Adidas on left leg in grey for 45 in site I got it for 15 or 18

Well that's a con. Was looking at some trainers down from 100 to 49, which would have been 37 after midnight. As soon as midnight struck the price raised to 66 so then after the 25% they go back to the original price of 49....

Cant argue with some of the prices in these sales, but I shan't be ordering anything further from adidas after my last experience with their "customer service."

Ordered a ton of items in the sale on 5th of May (arrival time quoted 2-3 business days), June arrives still no package. Apparently UPS have lost it. Adidas open an investigation with them... 2 weeks later still no update whatsoever, no phone calls, no emails, zilch. Phone Adidas to say I'm not prepared to wait any longer for the investigation, please issue a refund immediately. One week later, nothing. No confirmation of cancellation. Spent the next two weeks calling them every other day asking why they have still not even confirmed my refund, let alone paid it back.

In the end, as I was losing the will to live, I resorted to writing an absolute stinking email and copying in every single adidas department email address I could find along with email addresses of directors at adidas group globally. I also threatened in the email that I would keep expanding the email distribution list until I got my money back at which point, miraculously (2 months and 1 week later after the original order) the first ever communication initiated by Adidas confirmed that they were refunding my money accompanied by a vapid apology.

To say I was disgusted with their level of service and the amount of time they cost me is an understatement.

Nike will now have a customer for life provided their after sales support never perform that appallingly in the event of an issue.

Issues happen, thats life, but there is no excuse to take that long to give a customer their money back.

Always vote Cd on these trash deals, adidas deliberately hike the prices before these so called sales and try to deceive ppl into thinking theses are bargains. Just like Reebok
