eBay don't send email notifications to everyone however they might have it. Check your eBay account.

They do, unless like me, you unticked the box for them to be able to send promo emails - so by the time I checked my older account that I dont really use, the £20 voucher had expired. When I called up to say that I didn't have any correspondence they just told me that cos I'd unticked that box, there was nowt they'd do. Twice in 2 days I've had dealings with their cs dept and twice they've done the bare minimum and left it at that.

This explains so much :rage: Needless to say I had unticked them as well!

Doesn't mean you don't get them, just that you won't receive any bl**dy notification that it's been added to your account.

Yeah I have activated a few after seeing them on here, I got so sick of the eBay spam I unsubscribed from everything a few years back.

Didn't receive anything and ended up having to buy stuff on ebay today for a lot of money - totally ridiculous. Ebay bombard my inbox with complete garbage every day yet never any discount codes!(?). I buy / sell stuff all the time on ebay and have a perfect feedback record / account standing. I think they are only giving codes to people if there is something wrong with them. If you don't get a code, you must be considered normal - if you get a code, there is clearly something seriously wrong with you lol

15% off if spend over £200, is what I got. Nothing in that price range I need at the moment. Not a big enough saving to buy and profit from the resale either

Can the codes be used on a different account? Your code type would be perfect for me to buy a cooker from Argos.

It's not fair I never get these Ebay codes even though I've had my account for several years with a perfect feedback score of 500+. Guess I'm not a loyal enough customer to them.

I never get these offers either, I think somehow my account is US linked as I get offers in $ sometimes.
However... I also dislike these offers as it makes the auction bidding unfair, allowing people to outbid you but still pay less. That's just not fair or right. They should Just give a bonus occasionally, not linked to a specific purchase.
dealomatic to CouchPotatoe

It may be unfair for bidders, but the promotion will probably boost the price for sellers. Buyers will get a discount after applying the code, but the seller will get the final price paid (less fees of course).

I don't dispute that but my issue was ethical... It's still not 'fair' in a blind auction environment giving some bidders a hidden advantage.

If you're going for some big purchases don't forget TCB and to link your nectar card (and look for the thread posted today on the 5x Nectar points promo). Every little helps!
I've just seen a promo of £20 off £40 on an old account - that expired on the 21st! :rage: but nothing on my current one that I use all the time...so unfortunately nothing on this current promo
