it's cheap because it's a week in hell. Hot doesn't do justice to the conditions there at this time of year. Cheap isn't always a good deal.

Have you ever been to Dubai? Yes the hotel and malls will be AC, but the temperatures will be insane everywhere else, 46 Deg!
We went in December last year at the Atlantis. Even the waterpark would be unbearable in that heat, certainly wouldn't encourage it for small children.
As a secondary point I wouldn't go to Dubai on anything but a All Inc, the prices out there are very high and that's before the £ took a dive.
Not voting either way.

I stayed there around xmas and it didn't really cost much more than that through normal comparison sites. Hotel is pretty far from downtown and the palms so be prepared for a real schlep every day to anywhere interesting. Nothing decent to eat within walking distance so you will end up having a lot of very expensive meals in the hotel.
On the whole I would say it is unsuitable for children.

heres the link to get your flights - best deal I can find
If it says 'based on 2 adults only' does that mean solo travellers are out of luck? Why would they care if you are paying the same amount anyway (and eating less food!)?

Amazing deal. Considering breakfast and access to 'light' snacks and drinks at Club Lounge are included then this is a great price. You could quite easily have lunch/evening meals at Club Lounge if you're that kind of person - there are different breads, cheeses, fruit, pastries etc. to choose from. I could probably do that for the first 3 nights but would need to go out for a meal after! Very cheap though for what you're paying.
