Works out £1.20 per '500ml can' equivalent.
You can pick up 4x500ml packs (x2) for £8... standard 4 packs are £4.50 = £12.50 for 6 litres.
Basically, for an extra 50p, you can get a litre more.
Unless I'm missing something and I don't want to piss on the deal, I cannot quite see the value here, beyond the novelty of pouring yourself a pint?

Those are fair points regarding the canisters. Wasn't aware of that.

I bought a few of these kegs recently, they're a nightmare to keep chilled unless you have plenty of space in the fridge , they go flat after 2 days but great if you're having a BBQ and can drink same day... I'll be sticking to cans and bottles unless it's for a party

I need new kegs. Old ones have holes in them. Put on a bit of weight though.

I had a problem with one of the 5l Warsteiner kegs... Contacted them... Then one day they delivered 2 X 50l kegs... 2 days later, 48 bottles of Warsteiner... All I need now is a kegerator and a spare liver!

Saw these in Reading as well. Wasn't sure whether they were a decent price or not though
