Apologies if this has been posted already. Seems a good price for metal racking. I asked and it's not galvanised unfortunately. Anyone got these?
This 1.8m 5 Tier Boltless Shelving unit is great for any garage or workshop, offering a highly durable storage solution for a wide range of equipment or accessories.
This five shelf unit offers an incredible 175kg maximum weight on each shelf, allowing you to store even the heaviest of items with peace of mind. It has a very simple assembly design, each piece simply slots together with no bolts or screws required.
Unlike other warehouse racking and industrial shelving, boltless shelving requires only a hammer to install and requires no special skills or knowledge to build. If you’ve ever put together flat-pack furniture, you’ll be able to build this.
The rivets simply snap onto the beams and onto the angle posts. The shelves are easily put into place.
Regular industrial shelving, is bolted together, so if you ever want to reorganise the racking or add more units, you have to pull out the entire thing and replace it.
Boltless shelving snaps apart and back together again effortlessly, allowing you to reorganise and add shelves whenever you want. The new boltless shelves just slide into place – there’s no need to buy replacement units.
The units are incredibly durable, and you’re able to unsnap and reconfigure the shelves as often as you please without doing any damage to the unit or weakening it in any way. The lack of bolts means that there is nothing that will loosen over time. As long as you don’t exceed the high weight limit on the shelves, you’ll have long lasting durability, and more importantly a safe storage area.
Boltless shelves are incredible versatile and while often used in workshops, garages and warehouses, they can be used as industrial style bookshelves in a home or office.

Just been reading the screwfix reviews for a similar 5 tier at 24.99 which was 20 recently, and it seems that one is also pressed metal and the L shaped struts can be twisted fairly easily also. You get what you pay for I guess.

I have just bought some, not opened the box yet. I saw them in store and the frames were flexible metal. Having second thoughts now reading your comment. They did appear to slide lock together rather than rivets? I haven't seen others around the same money to compare. Are the screwfix etc ones rigid metal frames? The MDF is about 3mm. They certainly weren't worth the RRP.

Warning!! I just received my shelf units.
Unless someone can explain to me how it's done, am I correct that the entire shelving unit cannot be easily lifted vertically (to reposition it when empty)? Unless I have misunderstood how it fits together, everything is literally held together by gravity.
You cannot pick up the shelving unit from the waist up without everything falling apart.
If this is correct, I would strongly dissuade anybody from buying this unit, unless you really need the most temporary of shelving units. I might have to run to the hardware store to find bolts and attempt to make it more stable.

Yes delivery is pricey. I've got one about 10 miles away so can collect.

£20 delivery for 4 & £40 for 5! So think I'll stick with the screwfix ones for a few pounds more - easier to return if there is an issue

True but it was a 1 time effort though I could get a couple more, It mentions rivets it this for the core frame which won't be able to be taken apart? It talks about shelves easy to reorganize does the whole unit come apart

Once built you could easily remove one shelf and reposition, the get there rigidity from being built up.. Bought 4 off these for the garage and there are side by side and rock solid.. I wouldnt trust 175KG on every shelf but 100KG on each shelf would be fine.

I mean when I move house can they be flat packed again and re-built the other end?

Just an update. I've finally constructed one. They are quite sturdy once assembled. It took a while mind. The MDF is 4mm and they are galvanized according to the instructions. Good value for the money. As mentioned they get their rigidity from the ground up.
