I bought 5 Strawberry Smoothies for £2 and 5 bottles of Mango Smoothies for £2. All September dated. Deal looked too good to be true so checked at the CSD first.

The price was wrong as it is suppose to be 2 for £5 not 5 for £5. So now works out to be £2.50 with 20% of the £3 off which is now £1.90 a bottle

needs expiring - i can live with my 20 bottle haul - often wondered if its worth buying a chest freezer for these types of deals or whether the £50 cost of running it will outweigh the savings

My local store had the offer advertised on a shelf ticket. Obviously none of the staff questioned it. So I relieved them of 15 bottles, although there was no strawberry left. Still got 14 left in the fridge! What a great deal. Will check again tomorrow to see if it's still live

I assume for the £4 of £40 to work it must have applied it before any of the other discounts because if the 5 for £5 kicked in first then the totla goes under £40
I got a £6 of £30 today AFTER I bought my 20 bottles which was slightly irritating as I dont have enough freezer space for anymore really - in theory if I bought 10 bottles (£3 x 10 before discounts) then the bill would be minus £2 after discounts & the voucher - I seem to recall a couple of years back waitrose did some sort of update to remove the possibility of negatives balances though

unlikely as they are good for a month (used by dates are around 10th of september or better)
picked up 20 bottles today myself
mulling over whether they are freezable or if the contents will expand & the tops will be forced off # - may have to empty them into an empty milk carton to ensure no issue freezing
you can freeze milk in plastic cartons but they arent filled as full as these smoothie bottles

Thank you a lot, just bought 3 mangoes smoothies, 1 tropical and 1 pomegranate for £2. SA could not believe his eyes when all came at £2. He said he will try to get it for himself. I think it better to be quick before Waitrose will realize there is a glitch and stop it.

it said on their site that the deals ends 5th Sept but be quick as i'm sure its meant to work out at something like 2 for £5 rather than 5 for £2. Just bought some more for my neighbours as they are using this to make their own lollies and filling the freezer.

On line the PYO discount is calculated after the multibuy offer is applied so it will take off £1 rather than £3. They will cost you twice the price you'll pay instore

Is it just me or the PYO page is crap? You have to scroll through an endless list of items to find the product. If you search for it then the page reverts to online shopping mode and doesn't show the option to add to PYO!

best I can do is just try to make sure I go at the right time to get the reductions - lot less effort than monitoring for stuff like the above
