Your deal for £15 is 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 30GB of data
And this deal is for
£20 for unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 30GB of data
This price difference is reflected due to the fact yours is 200 minutes not unlimited.
Just saying

depends where you live, its not great indoors, but yet again depends on the area. My data speeds seem better or comparable to the other networks when ive checked with friends.

Bad in central London particularly offices. I had to cancel and switch to giffgaff (o2) but they were slow so went to plusnet/life (ee) and now bt. Were great at home but a real problem with buildings

I get ok Three signal, all the networks are the same in my area, depends where you are.
@jameshothothot Cell towers struggle to reach you when you are around tall buildings, I just came back from NYC and this is a huge problem there, building after building,

Cheers O2 has 900hz which I think works best at penetrating buildings like tv signals do. It would work even in the toilet at work or the lifts. Three never worked even at the desk or in cafes when waiting for lunch. EE is a decent compromise working at desk but not toilets.. I have never had vodafone.
Cheers man. I work in central so I'll stay away from Three!

This deal is currently on the 3 website for £18 a month, as an Advanced plan (ie includes Hotspot, roaming around the world). Existing customers only but you can get this if you register with a PAYG SIM on Three, then add it as an additional SIM plan. three.co.uk/exi…exc
Took out a similar contract 2 months ago, same deal except it was 600 mins+2000 mins on 3. £16 per month. Got it as an additional "service" having set up a PAYG SIM. Also included the Advanced "roaming/tethering/hotspot" option (Three Advanced). Not sure if this deal posted is "Essential" or "Advanced". Mine also included a £60 kickback from Quidco.
Three coverage is pretty decent, to be honest. Better than my previous O2. Get 4G most places I go, which is all round the country. And their support is also very good.

The link is just going to the three homepage. Is this a deal for new customers supposed to be advertised on their site?
This is the plan I have been on for the last 11 months as an offer to sign the new contract (It was I think £30) last year to a new customer.

I upgraded a few months ago from 200 mins unlimited text 12gb advanced pla £17 to 600 minutes unlimited text 30gb advanced plan for £15. Three kept trying to offer me that plan for £19 so I'm well chuffed to get it for £15  Nevertheless, I think this £20 is still good value for money so heat added. Don't forget that this is advanced plan so you get Feel at Home and personal hotspot.

I was on 3 for 10 years and switched to Vodafone a year ago. My coverage is much better in central London and Hastings. The 4G speed is also much quicker on Vodafone. The main advantages of 3 are the free data roaming in some countries (though the speed is seriously restricted when overseas) and the cheaper contracts. I wouldn’t go back to 3 after they dumped many of their customers (including me) into contracts costing twice as much. They now seem to be introducing cheaper contracts like in the past, so maybe they’re regretting getting so many customers offside with them.

Not in my opinion, they seem to be wide variations on what people are on. To have people grandfathered on 15 unlimited deals at three years yet when you phone them they want 28 is quite frankly ridiculous and the oneplan debacle plus if you complain some people get what they want whilst others get nowhere. If they where fair then I'd understand but there is no logic into what your charged. If there was a guaranteed way to step up from a lower allowance as a loyal customer but it all depends on how weak the Indian you get or if you reach the right complains department.

Got the same data and texts but 200 mins for £12. This was through the Wuntu app. An extra £8 for unlimited calls seems crazy.
If you want a good deal you need to be patient. I'd expect a phone included at this price.
Not voted either way.

For the data this isn't bad. I tried to have my main phone on Three (e.g. For calls and texts) and found it an absolute nightmare in and around Southampton city centre and I cancelled within my 14 day cooling off period - put one phone on O2 and the other on EE, but massive improvements on Three. The data might be ok but for calls absolutely dreadful call quality, if you can even connect it.
I got told by a Three rep and someone at the Apple Store independently there is some issue with the iPhone 7 and 4G on Three, no idea if this is true or not but I can say that every other network I've tried was better than Three in this particular phone.
Usual advice applies - try a PAYG SIM first before diving into a two year contract

I joined Three last summer just before going to New Zealand for 5 weeks and California for 1 week. The included roaming was perfect and faultless. it was a 12 month deal so coming to the end now but may stick with the network now with the Go Binge thing to use on Netflix and Deezer!

I’m also on this exact same contract for £15 a month, they tried charging me £20 but with a bit of haggling over the phone I eventually got it down due to saying I was going to leave after being with them for years.

A lot of people here with a poor 3 experience so I thought I'd weigh in positively. I'm in Manchester most of the time and have had no problems there unless the building I'm in is a lead-lined fortress. Unlimited data means that most of the time I don't even turn on wifi. Call quality's fine, didn't even know people have a problem with that. Feel at home roaming's pretty great, in Spain last year I had the fastest speeds of all my friends (one of which had roaming with T-Mobile US).
No complaints basically but I'd like to get either my costs down or minutes up with my current £20/mo 200 minutes unlimited data and texts plan.

I'm on exact same plan for £19. Three are better than other networks imo, don't get this annual increase or some garbage like £1.73 added on to your bill etc. I've never had an issue with their network either, been with them for 5 years in Greater Manchester and only lose signal strength in buildings like a hospital where the 3G comes to a crawl.

I don't get all these issues with the 3 signal, I've certainly not had any problems. The 3G is on 2100MHz - same as Voda, O2, EE, and so should be the same signal strength (assuming they are pitching from the same cell towers, which in built up areas they often are). OK, O2/Voda also use their old 900Mhz for 3G also in some areas. On 4G, all operators are using 800MHz, and 3 & EE are using 1800MHz in addition whilst EE/Voda are also using 2600Mhz. So a lack of 2nd frequency explains why O2 4G is poor outside populated areas (800MHz has longer range plus more "penetration" power: 2600Mhz not so good for range/penetration, but good for throughput: 1800MHz somewhere inbetween the 800/2600 scenario). Covering all the available 4G frequencies explains why EE has such good coverage & throughput as well: . But against the Voda & especially O2 frequencies, then 3 should be pretty good. So unless they are downgrading the service deliberately, I'm not sure why so many of you are having 3 coverage issues - in the main population areas at least. One other thing I do like about 3 - they provide the ability to receive/make calls over Wifi (including London Underground) on iOS/Android - that works pretty well.

Called three today after my friend telling me he got this deal for £15.00. Three also offered me it for £15 but it does not come with the teather. I was adamant to three that my friend also Gets his deal with tethering for £15.
Three told me this is impossible. So I called my friend and he said the deal he has is 30 GB of internet unlimited min and text but no tethering.
So technically the people who are paying £15.00 are not getting tethering so it's not the same deal..
Can anyone confirm this is the case also
