No door on the larder side unfortunately, so nothing to keep bugs away if you leave anything open.

Just looked again - its far from clear, its actually very misleading. They don't note it in the product description, its only in the Q&A section. Thanks for pointing it out.

I bought one of these last year from argos and they definitely do not have a zipped cover for the food compartment. I also saw one in 'The Range' that was identical but had a zipped mesh door.
