Went to buy a water butt set from B&Q for £26 then went next door to Asda and they had the same one for £20 so I took the original back and went for the one at Asda. When it scanned through it was £8.75 comes complete with fitted tap, stand and kit for attaching it to a drainpipe.
Not sure if this is nationwide but this was at Asda Kendal. Hope this helps somebody.

Went down to Asda in manchester, but the price there was around £30 or 35 can't remember

does any one know whats the best place to get replacement taps.. All shops sell for 4 pounds on avg and i think it breaks off after some time . Can i put a metal tap or any cheap alternative? any ideas

You could probably use something like this, obviously with a nut to hold it on. More expensive but would likely never break. You would need to check the dimensions of your butt hole first of course :wink:

Many years back B & Q sold these in nude and brown colours for £60 but they didn't sell so a few months later I bought 4 as gifts fir friends for £10 each
