Not cheap if you plan to use it regularly £24.99/Kilo vs £15.75/Kilo from my protein or £20/Kilo from goodhemp Handy if you prefer to just pick one up though and good on Aldi for not just selling whey!

Agreed. But that is true of any product buying in bulk. A like for like comparison with other same size products does make this a good buy.

I had a period where I substituted my whey for hemp protein.
Initially the taste took some getting used to - imagine drinking a muddy puddle - but I got used to chugging it, all was great, getting my protein along with decent fibre and lots of omega-3. After about 6 weeks use I began to get all manner of bowel troubles though, sulfur burps, bloated stomach, the worst diarrhoea ****** out my arse (never had the runs in my life until this), lots of strange noise coming from my stomach - only thing that had changed in my diet was my protein powder. My gut flora clearly didn't take too kindly to the change. Also due to my gut now being depleted due to all the emergency evacs on the toilet I began to develop skin issues, I imagine due to a compromised immune system.
All in all it took me about a year to fully recover and get the skin issues under control and restore a healthy gut biome,
Proceed with caution.

As genuinely effective as cod liver oil and Glucosamine.
Anyone know of any scientific studies where taking these supplements actually improves health?
From experience I can say cod liver and glucosamine has made no difference to me! 2 year user.
Stretching and exercise does a lot more....
Complete placebo BS!

There are many vital properties of hemp. Magnesium, omegas, good fats, vitamins etc. Mainly it is just a source of protein for vegans who work out and train similar to whey protein powders. No miracle cures here, just topping up what your body needs. And agreed with cod liver oil and glucoseamine.

Scientific studies? It's a protein powder not a supplement. There are many studies on protein intake in relation to muscle building.

I've taken well over 200 supplements in the last 20+ years. There's supplements where you can tell they're working and others which you can't at all.
Take 500mg of Niacin (not Niacinamide) and tell me you can't feel the difference!

And how do you know how you would feel if you hadn't been taking them?
