Zelda Breath Of The Wild for Nintendo Switch currently £39.99 at Grainger Games. Seen in store in Sheffield, but available online with free delivery, sign in store said it was a weekly deal so may not be around for long.
NOT PRE-OWNED!! Cheapest I've seen for a new copy of BOTW, currently £57.99 from Amazon so seems like a good deal.

It's a sad day when £39.99 is a good price for a game.

New?! Good luck in receiving a sealed copy! Had lousy service from these muppets with 4 separate orders all supposed to be new games everyone was unsealed and 2 were plainly used games PS4 discs as they were scratched. If you check out trust pilot reviews I am not in the minority in receiving unsealed games! Why any high street and online outlet cannot have some sealed games is beyond me!

This is.. a good deal?
I got it for £34 at launch, £39 is what I'd expect for a new game at launch, not a 3 month old game now.
And Amazon is seriously selling it for £57?!
Wonder if stock is low for Zelda or Nintendo keeping their game prices consistent annoyingly. Both could be true knowing Nintendo...

I've only ever ordered once from GG as that was the experience I had. Game arrive unsealed, in a cracked case both externally and internally. The disc was new, but clearly just taken out of a draw in a store and chucked in any old case.
Sent them a 'strongly worded' email regarding this, they refunded me the price difference between new and pre-owned as it wasn't sealed and also sent me 3 new game cases, in case one got damaged in the post.
So there was some saving grace from them, at least they have good customer service (unlike GAME!) but I won't order from them again.

damn, I need to check hotukdeals more fervently. On the plus side I saved £40 plus whatever I would have paid for a pro controller.
Thanks for posting it =)

pitty for those that missed it the 35 for used was a good price. I have bought 2 used games through them this is my 3rd have not been disappointed in the games I got though it takes a time for then to arrive sometime more than a week but I am fine with that

I bought it because I'm moving abroad in a few weeks and will be flying a lot. I will say, however, that I'm using the handheld mode way more than I ever thought possible at home. Playing XZelda on the TV looks fab, but being able to grab the console and take it upstairs, or play in bed etc is just brilliant. My girlfriend and I played some Mario kart on the train back from London in tabletop mode and it was just amazing. Had the Switch just been a regular console, I'd probably not have bought it.
Personally, and this'll be a divisive comment, I far prefer this type of hybrid console to the more commin home consoles. If I had to choose between my Switch and PS4, I'd choose the Switch, and I'm not a Nintendo fan in the slightest.

I am not really saying that it's not great . I would love one but don't have the free money to get one .
Nintendo are one of the best game publishers in the world and make some amazing games (Zelda being an example) . But for me , I wish they would make just a box that cost half as much using cheaper tech for the people who arnt really ever planning to play off the TV like me . And the price of games is an issue
Anyway I voted hot as it's the cheapest example

Valid points, however it is played and controlled through external controllers, removing entirely the "hand held" nature of the device. To be honest, it's really a hybrid console. There are arguments both for and against its nature. All I know is, i haven't had thing much fun with a handheld console since the GBA and it's the first Nintendo home console I've owned/enjoyed since the SNES. Absolutely love it!

Haha not trolling at all. Just stating the facts that it's a handheld with a dock.

Good thing is they are getting a bit more more sparse the better the Switch does. Best to ignore them though, they don't add anything to the discussion.

Great price if it comes sealed but I'm sure you can get it cheaper elsewhere if not sealed. Still, heat from me!

I hate grainger games , I bought 1 item off of them and they didn't post ,2 weeks later I cancelled as got for the same price elsewhere . Personally I won't shop with them again as this was my first experience . I disagree as technically it is a handheld device with a handheld passive cooled chip that connects to a tv via what is basically a wire (the dock) .
Either way this is the best price and this is a great game that isn't likely to drop by much . Although should of been this price at launch imo as all other games are

It isn't a handheld game though. Switch is a home console that can be used portably, it's not a dedicated handheld like the 3DS

2 Jul 17#23
It would go cold because it would almost certainly be cheaper elsewhere. That's not the case here. This is a combination of the high review scores, popularity of the game and age (and game selection) of the console. Most people who bought it won't be ready to sell yet. That impacts on the price.
Look at the price of GTA 5 on the PS4. If people are still playing an old game, it holds it value.
Holding out, my Switch order isn't due for another month so hoping this will drop a bit more before then.
Only reason I got the Switch

Finally a somewhat decent price for it. I honestly don't know why so many seemed to be ok with the pricing with DLC needing to be paid extra.
GameOverGranty
2 Jul 171#19
But what I'm saying is £40 quid for a hand held game isn't a good deal. If some one posted a £40 3 month old xbone or PS4 game that got great reviews it would still go cold. A lot of Nintendo fan boys/girls on here I guess.

neither is true considering the attach rate. And it is illegal to set prices in Europe.
Blame retailers for knowing that ppl will pay such prices. They'll charge the highest they can get away with and that's just business.
