Might be worth adding in the description OP that this is Prime members only.

Yeah basically, if you've been a member of Amazon Prime for a little while you have more room to move. I have bought things, opened them, used them and said i'd like a return and they just arrange it without question sometimes.
I am 100% sure that you could use a console for 5 months and say you'd like to return it as you aren't happy and they would agree.
In fact, i'm probably going to complete a game, and send it back for a full refund and buy another, not sure if I want a collection or to save money yet!

Playing an exclusive is always a good reason to try out a new console. The xbox one s bundles are currently uninspiring and there are relatively few decent low price bundles with decent extra games, or controllers going. I didn't know you could send stuff back to Amazon once you've played with it? However, more power to you and i'm certain you will find a way to return should needs must. That is a fair collection of 360 games you need to hang onto just in case you get the one s, or even an x later down the line.

Yes jumping in from the 360, basically the main reason being is that the PS4 seems to be a better console and a few of my geeky friends recommend the PS4 over the xbox one s. I am going to keep my 360 as I have about 70 games most of which I haven't even played! I really wanted the one s until I saw this deal for the PS4 and i bought horizon zero dawn too, not really sure how I will get on with it as I adore the xbox controller, so we will see. Good thing about Amazon is you can always return things, so i could get the console, play zero dawn, complete the game i got with the deal and send it back for a one s :P

I agree with others it is a very good offer for £170. Are you jumping in from xbox 360? I didn't get on with the Slim PS4 and I didn't like the change to a v2 controller, but the old PS4 I have is still performing well. If you can afford it don't trade your old kit in. Keep hold of old stuff until you are sure you want to change direction permanently. If you have a back catalogue of Xbox 360 games you can always jump onboard the xbox one later down the line and enjoy some of the backwards compatibility on offer. I have a PS3 I've kept, because the only backwards compatibility on offer from Sony is extra subscription to PS Now. Which is streaming only, even though I have physically copies of the PS3 games. That is on top of the subscription to PS Plus. Yikes! I am just about to start dipping my toes into xbox one - just for fun.

It should work now. It seems it was blocked in the morning. There was big banner on the Amazon website. Obviously applies to stuff directly from Amazon (doesn't include warehouse). Minimum spend is £40.00.

Just bought the PS4 + Controller + 2 Games for £170.
I have a feeling i should have bought the xbox one s but tbh I don't own a 4k tv and dont plan on getting one soon, so did i do the right thing here? It's a much better saving for the PS4 but for the same price i could have the one s....

The PS4 has better exclusive games and the best version of multi platform games until the new enhanced Xbox X comes out.
This is a great price for the Xbox One but the PS4 is a better choice in my opinion.

I can't decide whether to buy or not, currently have the elite 1tb hybrid drive, planning on getting a 4K tv soon, selling of minecraft, extra controller and my console will probably pay for this? Anyone?

Checked them before posting, I still believe it's true. It's the cheapest 4K Blu-ray meaning it's not up to par with others, meaning for a dedicated blu ray player you're better off finding something else. However, it's VERY good value for money.

Bloody hell. I'm half tempted to purchase this as a sole 4K player.. Would there be any difference between this and another 4k bluray player? I see the prices for those reach like £300/400

This doesn't do dolby vision for a start, not that it matters much at the moment.
Picture quality is supposedly better in the dedicated players, but I couldn't tell the difference.
Check this out, i think its alright as a player but it's the cheapest for a reason

Same here. Mine wasn't due to get delivered until Saturday via prime, but yet I am getting this delivered tomorrow. Think I was to slow in buying the £150 one and it was going to get cancelled anyway. It was sitting in my basket for over 30 mins as I decided to buy the last one.
I was also kicking myself when currys pulled their offer of forza console and extra controller for £200. But this is far better. Hot hot hot.

Musicmagpie offers £120 for console + gamepad, so could be a good way of getting spare gamepad, chatpad and two old games for an ok price...
