It’s 1968 and the rules have changed. After years in Vietnam, Lincoln Clay knows this truth: Family isn’t who you’re born with, it’s who you die for. Now back home, in a reimagined New Orleans, Lincoln is set on rebuilding his life, but old ties keep him from leaving the city.
It will take more than a few friends to make it in this new world. Intense gun fights, visceral hand-to-hand combat, white knuckle driving and street smarts will all be needed. But with the right crew, tough decisions and some dirty hands, it’s possible to make it to the top of the city's underworld. It’s time to create a new family.

No, it's terrible. I'd say that, even for £10.89, it's not worth it at all. Everything is so dark on the console version, you can barely see what you're doing, that's even with settings adjusted. It really is a whole lot of nothing. It alludes to an interesting story line, but it's basically an open world with a **** ton of boring fetch missions.

It's an ok game very repetitive. For £10 it's ok and worth a go.....
It's got a very good story and a great soundtrack, but expect to be bored stiff by the side missions. I traded mine in after the first weekend.

How do you buy this without signing up for a subscription?

I played the demo. One of those games, if you have time then decent enough. I have little time to play so I know that I would never get round to playing it.

This must be a stupid question but how do you create a Boomerang account to buy this ?!

I can't see how it's possible either. I can't jump on their live chat as I'm at work.

I had to speak to live chat and they sent me a link which took me to a page with a checkout button. They didn't seem surprised that I was asking this!

I love the stealth mechanics in this, just because they're so ludicrous. Hide behind something, whistle, then the enemy walks straight towards you taking a line nearest the corner you're hiding behind so you can knife him in the neck. It gets pretty repetitive though and I had the achievement for 100 stealth takedowns in the first couple of hours.
