Thought this was a decent ladies watch for the price - maybe even good for a teachers present as comes in a really nice box and they'd never think you'd paid less than £8 for it?! It's even water resistant to 30 metres and comes with a 1 year guarantee. Was £21.95 now £7.76 with Prime or add £3.99 delivery if you don't have Prime or free if you spend more than £20

Yeah, no, it isn't untrue - didn't bother me anyway as I fully expected them not to work and am really happy with it so thanks OP!

The Caravelle (Bulova brand) watches on Argos Ebay have a fully working Chrono function.
this looks more like a man's watch than a woman's watch. pretty ugly.

All the good reviews are from people who were given a free watch in return for "reviewing" it.
Well, there's a couple of other good reviews from people who, strangely-enough, didn't buy one.
Everyone else got a green wrist but didn't know how long they'd had it because their watch had stopped
Basically it's rubbish in a nice gift box.
5-stars from me.

I realise that the price is a good indicator of precious metal content, but I still don't think it should be described as a Silver / Gold watch

Are the day/date dials just for show or do they work?.

Taken from a review On the Amazon product description list it does say “Does Not Have Date Function” but this is obviously untrue

The dials are just decorative.
Check the photos and you will see that the second hands and the other 2 dials are in exactly the same place.
I think that it would be a better watch without the extra dials making the face look too fussy.
