Messing around ? I intend to use it for incoming emergency calls rather than missing such calls. The recipe for disaster is missing that unknown incoming call when my phone is in my backpack, I've tried to cycle with a iPhone in my shorts/tracksuit bottoms but it just jumps about battering the side of my leg leaving bruising.
Lycra ? Not yet I haven't, prefer not to be so compacted.
As for taxing cyclists ? Well you are damaging your health and planet. I choose not to have a wee banger on the road, costs are not just monetary.
I use cycle lanes, or pavement not road lanes (or dedicated road cycle lanes) - because cars can kill pedestrians/cyclists.
You never ever seen another motorist speed? LOOOOOL excited
HUKD should have a dunce of the week badge hahaha

Do we need cyclists messing around on their phones and not concentrating when the roads are choc a block with motorists doing it?
Seems like a recipe for disaster! I guess the only difference is motorists are in a ton plus of metal - and we risk 6 points if getting caught so higher insurance premiums.
I say make sure cyclists are taxed and insured and wear numberplates so we can snap a picture of them on our mobile when they do something that annoys us motorists!!
I never speed and have never seen any other driver speed or break any laws. But cyclists - them lycra louts don't know the rules of the road!!

Good to know, thanks (y) for £2 I took a punt, today is probably ideal weather to test it but I don't do biking in weather like today haha, I'm just preparing for the British weather that changes quicker than a politician for when I am out and about

Wow! "no good for me" = cold. I'm a little more centric than that lol I focus on the value, thankfully - adversity in life challenges or others life changes are easier all round to support (y) we live in a self centred toxic universe unfortunately! Link me, I'll add heat strong

You must be kidding. Have you never used a GPS? That's pretty much the use for a mobile holder in a bike.
About you never seen any other driver speed or break any laws, you need to consult an optometrist ASAP. And stop driving in the mean time just in case. :sunglasses:

I laughed so hard and forgot to read the rest of the comment, just read it now and missed this bit "I never speed and have never seen any other driver speed or break any laws break laws as in wearing seat belts, using phone whilst driving, Illegal Maneuvers, illegal parking. All the money is to be made from cyclists no wonder more cycle lanes are being made lol

Peddle Tax - cyclists will rename it meddle tax lol, then there is compulsory peddle liability insurance, path tax, MOT (tax) - will be done at council only to fund the chargeable bike path lanes LOL but bridges will be toll free for bikes (in Scotland only)
At least one positive - stolen bikes will be insured by the uninsured thief and no claims bonus will not be affected in claims, just a taxable £200 'administration fee'
Think that poster must be a mighty Tory, inventing things for tax income and new businesses Avenues excited
