I was looking for 2 of these so my kids don't kill each other on a trip at the weekend and my Asda had them, but when she scanned them at the till they went through at 2p, they didn't say reduced or yellow stickers just scanned at 2p worth a try if you instore, barcode is 8713439186390 Shocking thing was I forgot my bags so had to pay 8p to take it home

It's not illegal though. You're confusing EC competition law (abuse of a dominant position in the market, deliberately undercutting rivals by selling at a loss etc), with a local manager's special where he's just clearing old stock or end of line items.

Unfortunately they don't work. The fixing is rigid, but not able to resist the vibrations of a car or the weight of a tablet. It lasted all of three miles before it fell in pieces on to my daughter's lap.
The better ones are the velcro strap ones that fix it to the back of the headrest.

Technically it illegal for asda or any supermarket to sell anything at 2p if it's not fruit and veg and has yellow sticker so well done on that find
