The People's Operator 1,000 mins, unltd texts, 2GB (4G): £5.99/mth* CHEAP FOR MEDIUM USERS WHO NEED 4G SPEED The People's Operator* now offers 4G. For £5.99/mth you get 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data.
Launched in 2012, The People's Operator is a piggyback network running off Three's signal. The company has had mixed customer service feedback in the past, but it's taken steps to improve since. It will also give 10% of your monthly spend (pre-VAT) to a charity of your choice – a nice touch.
Need-to-knows 30-day rolling contract; contracts terminate at the end of the calendar month in which you give notice. Runs off the Three network. Calls to UK mobiles and landlines included. Calls to 084/087 numbers extra – see call costs. Use up your allowance and you'll have to pay 3p/MB and 10p/min. You won't be credit-checked, though it'll carry out a basic ID check.
Double the mins and good out of allowance calls! No tethering though
Just joined tpo and discovered i cant ring 073 mobile numbers, not recognised. Their response was that this was a premium rate number...absolute nonsense, its my fathers mobile number from virgin I think. Just so happens that to activate premium rate number requires a deposit of £100...Think i'll be jumping ship from this crew.

Gave TPO 1 months notice on my PAC code, they told me to contact them on the 22nd - which I did - too around a dozen emails to them over the following two days to get a reply as they were leaving me potentially with another contract with O2 because if the pac wasn't transferred then apparently I would be stuck with O2.... Anyways......... TPO told a lot of porkies, missed out all of the parts of the complaint that they couldn't answer truthfully to and to finish that off the reception is dire, the data is very very slow even with the 4G signal..........
If you don't mind dire, lying customer services plus want stress and don't mind your phone becoming a tin can with string, and the person you are speaking to constantly complaining about the quality of the calls - then TPO is for you.....

Apparently the £50 for eu roaming is old policy, so they will activate eu roaming free of charge now. Issue still with ringing 073 numbers, waiting 1 more day on resolution or im offski to plusnet.

basically just use plusnet!!
In comparison, iD Mobile hit half a million in 20 months..
Plusnet Mobile all the way for me too. TPO just doesn't seem a viable player.
Won't update properly but deffo that price
£5 on plusnet will actually cost you £5 a month
dont ignore the reviews above !!!!
