Fully agree! Bought a few cheap ones from garages etc and they kill the radio reception. I have a good one that I bought ages ago and that's OK. So you get what you pay for. Please feedback and let us know if this is OK with your radio reception.

Any ideas how it auto detects the connected phone? My car mount only has the 5v wires, not the data wires. Hopefully it will still kick out full power.

Yeah most cheap car chargers cause FM radio interference when plugged in. At least all mine do.
This will be a decent brand so i have my fingers crossed when it arrives tomorrow.

For me it's very rare that I would need to charge two devices quickly (short journey?) so I agree with the other poster that I would prefer a flush one.
This is definitely a good deal if someone needs that functionality though.
