Agree - if you noticed at the time, you probably should have said something. However you didn't, so it seems like an honest mistake on the cashiers part. Go back and they'll tell you to leave it, I'm sure.

I would agree with awt. Last time I went back to Iceland to pay for something that was scanned wrong. The cashier ended up calling the manager and the manager said that this was a first and he was surprised aswell.

It's not theft thou, if , it's a cashiers error!! Only theft if you remove 1bottle, & fail to disclose the rest of the pack. So bradp2, can sleep without worry of being arrested!! :sunglasses: x

Yeah just checked the receipt again and it’s says still water 500. Which I assume is x1 500ml bottle. I am not complaining though

Great haul, but it looks like the cashier has just scanned one of the individual bottle barcodes as opposed to the package code. Awesome for you, though :smile:

.....outer wrapping! I can't quite make out the code on the receipt but a single bottle is 19p in my local Aldi and the pack price scans through as £1.75
