Pleased with Galactic Civilizations 3, Dark Souls and Simple Planes! Not sure about this upcoming bundle though - Pillars looks quite good.

PoE has a couple of content DLCs which puts me off but it is tempting, gonna leave it last minute like I did with July's bundle. Didn't expect that Sherlock Holmes game to show up but that's pretty much made the bundle a win for me since I loved Crimes and Punishments.

For me I was so close to buying Hyper Light during the Steam sale, and held off thankfully. So July's is a big win for me. But I have Pillars, and have no interest in NBA, so I've paused my August sub.

wasn't too keen on what got last month. Wasn't galactic III in a regular bundle very very recently too alongside 1 and 2?
On the fence about this one...time to check reviews of PoE. I wish they wouldn't frequently give games that tend to have quite a few costly DLC associated with them. I hate being expected to shell out more on the DLC than paid for the original game if want to play in its complete form

Yep, it was, which I agree is somewhat annoying (though I have a physical copy of it anyway, FWIW). Still, it's a good value bundle all the same.
I can also now play my Steam sale purchases without any worry about duplication from the Monthly

I don't think the DLC for PoE 1 is very highly rated.
Regardless I'm sure if you actually completed PoE and enjoyed it then paying for the DLC on sale to enjoy some more wouldn't be a big hardship

When you come across the reviews, at least on Steam, you'll notice most of it is negative due to Paradox putting up the RRP of the game. Ignoring that and Paradox's greediness, if you like CRPGs, you'll probably get your money's worth out of PoE alone but I agree, the presence of two content DLCs is frustrating.
