Everdrive cartridge is still going to cost you £70ish then the price of an SD card (chuck into the mix that its also piracy) the price of a SNES with 2 controllers...stepdown transformer for the PSU if you want a NTSC version running full screen and at 60hz.
Then of course you need a CRT TV to plug it all into! Unless you want it looking like mud on your modern TV!
This is the option I use to play SNES but have still got a couple of preorders in for the mini as they are just too cute :smile:

It will be powered by USB which most TVs have nowadays. Otherwise you need to buy AC USB adapter.

Just seen on the description that it says
Note that an AC adapter for the USB cable is required to play the system but is not included in the packaging
I'm assuming we can just plug it into the TV to play?
Better hope the controller wires are long as well, my TV is on the wall and has no shelf underneath lol

Do you get confirmation email from game straight away? Order was confirmed (although it told me at the same I already had an account with that email address) logged back into account and nothing showing and no emails yet

I've just got one and my Paypal email just says that I'll be charged when the merchant takes the amount. At this stage it seems unclear as to whether that is now, or later on.

Seems the same as the other retailers who use Paypal.
You'll be charged the amount initially, then it will appear in your account in a few days time, then taken out again when sent out for delivery.

Oh no, not what i wanted to hear. I used card so hoping its different but might have to cancel if it is immediate as i really dont like the idea of game holding my payment, especially if rumours of them closing are true as they could do a runner with our cash...

Do game take payment on pre-order? Searching suggests its on dispatch but with this being so highly in demand i dont know if there would be a exception, also heard some mention a £50 deposit but that might only be for in store?
