Most overrated game of all time. Got the special edition on PS4 for a tenner, I hate it.

I'm assuming you missed GTAV, then.

That was alot better than Skyim IMO.
Skyrim is too confusing for players who have never played an Elder Scrolls game. Lots of things to do in it, but the exploration to me just feels hollow. Combat is awful, voice actors are annoying, glitches/bugs galore, and the whole weight system is beyond irritating, y'know, because having a restriction on what you can carry is so realistic in a game with dragons and vampires....

If you find Skyrim confusing I hate to say it but you might just be a little slow.

It's still pretty unrealistic that you can still carry seven suits of armour and ten battle axes, and still have room to spare for hundreds of herbs. Games just need mechanics like that, as it stops you taking the mick.
And saying a game can be confusing to people who haven't played a game is, er, well... I mean, what do you want, a uniform approach per genre? Fallout, Far Cry and the like all have similar hallmarks.
Agree to disagree on the rest.

You talk about a fantasy game that has dragons, elfs, magic ect
And you think it is unrealistic to carry a lot of stuff............
Mmmmmmmmm lmao

Its not about unrealistic... its about making the game a challenge so you have to make choices that will haunt you later... if you could carry everything you find they might aswell give you it all to start with...
Resident evil made you chose what to take... it made it brilliant... do you take herbs, or bullets for two different types of gun...
take that away and you might as well remove the health bar... save points.... boss battles...
in a game world that has dragons and zombies... why would that equate to a man being able to have 100s of items in a satchel? is it made by the same company that brought us the tardis...
next youll be saying its realistic to have a Dr as a woman...
bonkers...

Not at all, it IS confusing. I don't mind RPG games, loved Mass Effect, but Skyrim can be very confusing first time you play it. You absolutely must invest the time and patience to get a grip with it, otherwise it just overwhelms you.

Skyrim is about as simple as an RPG can get. You can literally equip a weapon and button mash enemies to death. Quests you are for the most part guided through with map markers. If Skyrim is confusing to you then I don't think you are cut out for RPGs

Yeah, agreed. The only game that's confused me a little recently was The Witcher 3, just learning the mechanics, potions, etc. Skyrim is an FPS with a levelling tree, like Fallout 3/4.

Yeh I get that... but equipping magic/powers, creating potions which appear to be random to me, is there a recipe list i'm supposed to pick up? Staffs seem to use magic but unlike my magic bar it doesn't regenerate... is it even using magic? Upgrading weapons or armour means using different equipment (workbench, grindstone etc), which in turn means having the necessary items to do the upgrades. I'm not an idiot, but to me as a first time player of Elder Scrolls it was confusing, or perhaps just extremely overwhelming. No other game i've ever played in my 20+ years as a gamer has done that to me. The glitches didn't help, the one i'm currently doing is in a church in Whiterun to find some amulet, I can see the arrow/marker, but there's no amulet to pick up, no matter how many times I reload. It's almost questioning whether i'm even in the right place despite the arrow pointing right on the table!
