Impressive data allowance at a very good price which allows tethering of the full 30gb, and data/calls/text roaming in 60 countries including USA.
The trade off is 600 minutes, rather than unlimited. Personally I don't ever spend 10 hours on the phone in a month, so this is perfect for me. Not for everyone, of course.
Unlimited texts.
Three customers on an Advanced Plan can use their monthly allowance of calls, texts and data for no extra cost in 60 destinations worldwide, including USA, Australia and Singapore.
ALSO: There's the possibility of £65 Topcashback on this deal, as the plan is listed in the offers. HOWEVER- the link takes you to additional sim deals, so if you navigate to the standard deal you may have it declined.

6 month minimum wait for cashback ..

Not necessarily. There's a 3 month validation period, which is normal for contract-based cashback...
You have to wait for all cashback.

Is this a 12 month or 1 month contract?

Quidco + Topcashback both state in their T&Cs that cashback is not eligible on special deals for exsisting customers which I think this may fall under.
This is a good deal if you need a good data allowance, for me in a city surrounded by wifi it is overkill esp when on Three you can get a cheaper plan and buy cheap £5 data bundles that have considerable good GB boosts the more you buy. Heat though!

Under Good to Know:
1-month Contract SIM plans, Mobile Broadband, PAYG Handsets, SIMs and Mobile Broadband, Upgrades and Special deals for existing customers, are all not eligible for cashback.

Can someone help me with a sim only recommendation for my mum. basically she needs unlimited minutes, 300 texts +, zero data.
She recently lost her other child, and so needs to ring me in Europe, and also, I would like her to be able to ring grief counselling lines etc without being charged (they always have those 03 or 08 numbers)
Thanks

So both Quidco ad Topcashback say: Special deals for existing customers, are all not eligible for cashback. - What does a 'special deal' fall under?

What exactly are you asking for, here?

Sorry to hear such, £12 Lebara (Voda) hopefully your euro mobile is included in the 40 countries, failing that get a U.K. Sim sent to you. 03 comes out allowances, 0800 is now always free from a UK mobile.
Looks like the, days of getting unlimited data for 15 have gone with three. When I ring to get them to match the others that have unlimited for 16 they have no intelligence it's what the computer says. Wish we could all post what we had to do to get unlimited data for 16 then we could game their systems. I'll sit on my Ee 14.50 32 for now....

A recommendation for a sim deal/ package where my mother can use the free minutes for 03/08 numbers. Was my post not self explanatory?
hugekebab
7y 35d#16
That's really helpful thanks for that. Would 0808 be included in most sim allowances?
Price plan allowances include 01/02/03 and most 07 numbers come out them, 0800 & 0808 are free.

Go on live chat and ask them to put you on this plan. You'll miss out on cash back though.
Currently on this plan for £12 pm

I have tried Three live chat to get a better deal and they are flatly refusing to do any upgrades and keep referring me to call the upgrade team.
Have you got any tips on how to steer the conversation to enable an upgrade through chat?
6ixFoot1
7y 35d1#26
You don't use the word 'upgrade'. Say you want to more data or mins and you're only looking to pay a pound or two extra. If you say you aren't happy they normally escalate as a complaint to another person who is able to give you further discount

I'm currently on the plan they offered me when they cancelled my One plan which is £16 for 4GB and 600 minutes. I didn't use the word upgrade but said I wanted to change my plan preferably to 30GB and 200 minutes for around £10 like I had seen others get. As my plan is currently £16 I don't want to pay extra but get it reduced. Any further advice is greatly appreciated.

If you are unhappy with the first advisor, they will put you through to someone from the complaints department who will probably give you at least £2 off your current plan. Then you can contact them again a week later and say you'll pay a pound more for the 30GB plan. I know it's not the best but at least you'll be on a decent plan for £15.
I think I've been given good deals as I was always offering to pay more than what I was on (started on a £9pm contract). From 4gb data and unlimited min @ £9pm I went to £10 for 8gb data then to £11 for 30gb data and 200mins and now on 30gb data and 600mins for £12.
100% the complaints department will give you a discount for the plan you're on. Or ask them to change the plan for you as they offered me what I'm currently on for £15 straight away before I negotiated it down.

Could you go from 30 to unlimited by saying 2 pound more and pay 14. Ive seen lots of people on 16 unlimited. Im happy with my 14.50 32 EE but if i could have a year with Three unlimited again for 15 id canx EE and take my chances. Unfortunately i dont have a Three data sim to go at and if i canx EE you can't get that back till the offer is on again

7y 35d#31
I'm not sure. I could try it I guess but I don't really want to spend anymore and 30GB is plenty for me.
You only get 30GB hotspot allowance on unlimited data though.
How did you get the £14.50 deal? And will the price go up at the end of the contract? My wife is currently on an old T-Mobile, £21 for unlimited data.

Every 5 months or so EE put the deal on here. It's due in august as the last one was march. I was on unlimited with three for a year till June that was 14 but the quidco took 6 months. Three played hardball last June so glad i overlapped it. The thing is I'm finding it hard to keep inside 32 my football streaming is high. Three know the sweet spot for unlimited data is 16 which is why it's so hard to get it. I thinking of paying a few weeks on a new three SIM and stepping up to it but i don't really want the money exposure on extra data that pushes me above my 16 limit for paying.incidentally I have successfully put a 200 minutes unlimited data three sim in a Sony xperia m4 aqua and the tethering didn't go down so i got effective one plan, that's why I'm wanting three again

The EE 14.50 only goes up with RPI every year it's a great deal as its rolling. I'm hoping for a free double up to 64 after paying one year but that's at their discretion. I just want more data now
