I called customer services twice today and was on hold for 47 and 59 minutes, never accessed a human! WTH?!
I wanted to query how to opt out of their marketing and sharing my personal details with third parties as signing up gives you no opt out option, and their T&C's say nothing about opting out. Wrote to them twice by email, no response. I requested a SIM which never arrived, and I cannot request anothee as my email address is already registered. Usesless company so far!

That's a 12 month contract, not a monthly one. Also, the deal seems to be back on!

If only TPO had remained on the EE network, I'd be all over this... Three has a really weak signal around here and texts are often delayed by hours.
Even lower if someone is a low user. So even greater if someone is on a budget. You can buy landline phone that take a sim card then you can ditch BT's £18.99 line rental. Of course if the older person has pension credit then they can get BT Basic that is £5.10 a month but this deal and the one i posted is still less

Bad experience with TPO. Can't get through to speak with anyone and hounded every month for money "owed" despite emails every month saying the issue was resolved

No you can't and they still have some pretty decent deals on their site directly plus you could try for cashback if you go direct

BT = £5 p.m. plus £30 quid amazon card effectively £2.50 p.m. (500mb)

Same price direct on their website, worth noting that it's their policy to not cap allowances or overspend so be careful if you go close to your limits you might get stung if you accidentally go over, also you can only call or text 99 unique numbers per month

You are correct, my bad, thx for correcting. This is hot either way, I'm considering switching as I have never gone over my allowances and I don't use particularly much.
