Had my Z3 for over 2 years now and it's still running as smooth as the very first day. The battery life is also still excellent. It's held up a hell of a lot better than the girlfriend's iPhone 6S and my mum's Galaxy S6.

Id just like to add I still have the Sony M2 which has passed through mine, the wifes and the sons hands before going to granny as a backup phone - Not bad for the £120 it was in its day like this phone, so Id recommend this updated cheap Sony.

I've had my Xperia XA since also buying from 02 for £80. To me it represents a nice balance between phone size and decent screen size, which is very clear. Battery life isn't great, but it has improved since the Android 7 update. I transfer all apps and media over to my sd card, and it remains lag free. At £80 as new it was excellent value, but at £120 brand new I'd say it is still good value, particularly with the 2years Sony warranty.

If you're buying something that will (hopefully) last you for around 2 years, you don't want to regret that purchase. You want something deserving of your expenditure, but I don't believe this product is worth it.

I wouldn't buy from an import company either. Too much can go wrong, but I would personally choose to wait for a better UK deal to come along than this.

At least it will have all UK bands and free of spyware to steal your personal details unlike Chinese phones sold directly from China. Plus you will get UK warranty as well.

Why is this hot? Is it because it says Sony? The smart ultra 6 which was £89 at its height of popularity in 2015 is better than this, bar camera.

I bought this phone around 6 months ago, on refurb for £79. It's "ok" it does the job, and I have no issues with it, but the cmera isn't anywhere near as good as the camera I had on my old Sony Z1 which I broke (hence the XA). One thing I noticed, my step tracker apps don't work on it, as apparently no gyro on the XA (didn't know that was even needed). However Strava cycling app works no probs. I get a full day battery life from it. Just been pricing up an upgrade, fancied a Samsung Edge, but £37 per month for an edge 6 put me off - I have this on sim only for just £7.99 a month, and simply can't justify the difference in price.

So if you're not doing too much on your phone, browsing, emails, phone calls - it's perfectly fine. Not sure I'd want to pay £120 for it though, but beats £500/£600 for the flagship phones.

good price for a phone. £200 is max you should pay for any smartphone.

I "inspect" a lot from a 100 quid phone mate, Moto G series started the trend of a nice budget phones a couple of years ago and nowadays you can buy a Xiaomi 4x or even Note 4 for this kind of money, which are all miles ahead of the XA. And yeah, don't buy the S6 because of the bad battery life and screen burn issues. And because it's 2 years old.

The XZ is a fantastic phone, sadly it didn't stack up as well against the other flagships but in its own right it's a great handset. Worth mentioning that Sony does 24 month warranty that is based on IMEI so every one is still under warranty, you just book it through Xperia Care should you need it, this assumes you haven't done anything to void it (like people claiming spontaneous cracking, bending or water damage).

Really nice looking phone. Trouble with Sony phones, at least all the ones I've owned, low to high end is that they all had at least one dead pixel. So annoying. Why don't they use better panels?

16gb is very poor for me. i have sony c4 and continuously having memory problems. i bought a 128gb external sd card but it doesn't act as 1 unit. so i suggest you consider the memory limitations of this phone.

It's on EE good as new for a 109.99 pound but you have to spend another 10 pound for a minimum top up pack if that helps.
