Handy thing to have, just watch you don't scrape the porcelain if you're using it to clear a WC

Caustic soda is excellent at clearing blockages, you can get it in most hardware stores. But seriously read the safety warnings, it's not something to carelessly muck about with. If you want to give yourself nightmares google image search "caustic soda burns" - the results are quite sobering.

Same price on Amazon too if you prefer that. This is a 6m auger.

This is brilliant. Properly unblocks sinks and much better than bottles of drain unblocker imho
Also used it on a built in vacuum cleaner and a toilet (yeah, had to buy new one after that)

I weighed it up (the decision that is). I decided I'd rather buy a new drain unblocker and it had already served me well. I stand by my decision

I had one of these and the bit at the end was too big to get down the plug hole in my shower.
No matter what the video is of content the American accent makes the 5h1ttiest of jobs seem like a breeze and worth taking on. Just look at what the bloke is taking out of his shower drain... hair and other stuff. I'd have a full bio hazard suit on not shorts a pair of nikes and rubber gloves.

Bought one of these a few weeks ago, Wast pipe under an extension was blocked, I started at the sink ubend, This thing went around 5 right angle bends and went on for about 5 Meters, Worked brilliant, I was not sure if it was gonna work, I got mine from ToolStation for a tenner and all the reviews were positive, And they were right to be. And it's still in the shed for the next time.

Unless you get the foaming stuff (and even then it's not always that great), it just clears out enough for the cleaner to drain rather than doing a full job.

No idea where I put it. I bought this is the end and it's very effective:
