Also, not sure what's so 'IOS' about these - they seem to have to normal 3.5mm input so in a way, aren't these non-ios now?

The inline remote controls allow you to control the volume/play pause. Apple has their own standard which means normal headphones controls won't work unless they're made to be shoved down an apple device.

I'm still waiting patiently for the wireless over ears to drop to £200. Lucky to get the OEBT's for £165 from Amazon Italy a few weeks back.
Hopefully Amazon UK or a Euro Amazon will do a deal with Prime day coming up.
