Yeah portable definitely more desirable in my opinion - with 2.5" drives getting some decent storage sizes now, I reckon they'll keep getting more popular.

How reliable are these drives? I've been looking at some reviews which say it only lasts a few months before failing...

I bought one of these the last time they were on sale at Argos. The first one broke the moment I plugged it to the computer. Literally. It started making a noise and it wouldn't work. I returned it the next day and got a replacement.
The replacement been running fine for the past few months but after the initial incident and reading other reviews and I don't have much faith in it.

Very are playing chicken with Amazon, price now £64.99 and on the Amazon site their price went from £54.99 to £74.99. So no doubt Amazon will adjust their price to match Very.

£4 delivery charge and no option to order and collect from CollectPlus killed it for me.
I don't understand why they are so selective on what you can order and collect for free from local collect + store..
in the past I ordered iPad, laser printer,PS4,..all more expensive and all electrical item for click & collect but cannot do click & collect for hard drive! wtf

I bought two of these a few months ago. One keeps causing problems and I wanted to return it under warranty but it's a hassle and I need to pay for return delivery (!). Plus I don't like my photos leaving my hands... Anyway, I bough them £50 each at Sainsbury, one of hot deals found here.
I added an extra item on to get the spend to over £60.

I took one apart and stuck the HDD in the ps4 pro. Great upgrade. I think you should be able to put your old ps4 drive in the case again so then you'll have a 500gb/1tb external drive too
