I paid about this amount for this telly used on EBay. It's a great tv, my one gripe is that it's only 8-bit and doesn't display HDR, but that's a minor issue for this kind of value. Recommended.

Let the waiting game commence.....
It's not silly cheap so I think the people who ordered when they had stock will get one. The last orders will probably get cancelled as they won't actually have the stock to fulfill these orders.
But the above is just a guess.

Being .97 I think it's a clearance item so could be legit. Hope it delivers for those that got it! Would have loved one myself

I got the Phillips 55" 4K HDR ambilight deal from Argos and had to return it because of blue patches on the screen. Unfortunately just missed this but good luck to people who managed to place an order on time. When I first saw the deal and clicked the link it showed 51 purchased and 10 still in stock.

I sold mine the other day for more than this but would have bought again at this price and made more than £100. shame I missed it.

Just had an oos message but offering a Samsung ue50mu6100 or JVC LT-55C860 for SAME price or a refund. Think I'll go for the Samsung - both are around £600.
What does everyone think?

Same here. The Samsung is actually itself a pretty good deal.

Had the same message, I think I'm gonna take the Samsung too

Avoid the JVC - It's a Vestel and £350ish is about the going rate for a 55" 4K Turkey with a Techwood, Polaroid, Technika, DigiHome badge on the front (they're all exactly the same)

Is the MU the generation that replaced the KU? Full 5" smaller but looks decent and I was wondering if my lounge is a bit small for a 55!

I have a 79inch 4k tv propping up the wall in the hallway because my current living room is too small. This is a temporary substitute.

Recieved the replacement item message, which I replied to asking them to send the 50" Samsung, half an hour later I got an email back saying as they haven't heard from me they have refunded my order. The Curry's standard phone customer service can't offer any assistance

I replied to the replacement message after about an hour, asking for the Samsung. No reply yesterday so chased up and just had this.
"Thank you for your message and confirming your option.
Your item will be despatched shortly. Upon despatch you will receive an email with your tracking details."
So looks like I'm getting a bargain!

I cant imagine the retail margins are good enough for these to be sold at cost price to PCWorld at £369. It seems a genuine piece of good customer service from Curries/pcworld in trying to make up for a mistake. They could have just told us to get lost and cancelled the orders.

We were expecting to deliver a parcel to you today; however, we have not yet received this parcel from Currys PCW. As soon as we get your parcel, we will send you an email with your new delivery details. Until then, please contact the sender for more information."
Guess I'm not getting it today, or maybe not at all.

Came direct from Currys their own delivery. I had a time slot text to methis morning.
I've noticed though the estimated delivery for this on their website is now 10-21 days! So it may depend on local stock being delivered.
Good luck.

My eBay listing still states the 55" one but I asked for the 50" replacement. Had a text about an hour ago saying DPD will be delivering my parcel tomorrow. But I'm expecting a 50" one. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.
