Printer is £99.99 when purchased but £75 of cashback can be claimed from Samsung afterwards, making the overall cost only £24.99. A bargain for a decent colour laser printer with network connectivity.

Did my claim today...site is very buggy and crashed but confirmed I`ve made a claim.
What I still can`t work out is it asked me if I wanted cashback or warranty....is this correct?

I went to the Samsung Claim site but unable to find ebuyer in the dropdown list of resellers... is it because it is too early to claim or I should just select OTHER in the reseller option and enter ebuyer manually?

Added a note to my calendar - I think you have to wait 30 days before you can claim

This why I suck my breath in whenever I contemplate buying from them; issues with their systems. I DID order something just after Christmas, because they were the cheapest by about £130; but it took multiple attempts to get the order to go through. My last order prior to that was a DOA that took 3 months to get a refund on - after I originally just asked for a replacement that they refused to supply without sending the dead unit away for "testing" - estimate for completion of tests was SIX MONTHS. Of course they didnt tell me the last part until they had had the thing back for nearly 6 weeks.

Apparently it was on a "Happy Hour" deal for £99 between 12 and 1pm this afternoon. They had one last one at higher price but the guy allowed me to have it for £99 when I phoned to check about my missing order. Result.. !!
Apparently my original order never went through this afternoon..

Back to full price again... I don't know if anyone had this experience, but as soon as I saw the lower price, I went and ordered and had an on screen confirmation that my order will be delivered on Monday. However, never got a confirmation from Paypal or an email confirmation from ebuyer.
Just logged into my account to see that there is no order at all. strange....!!

Headlines, arent they great?? Now go to their consumables page, and work out the cost using the alleged toner yield and the price per toner. When you factor in the waste toner cart, it brings it up to around 3p; as long as you buy the largest and most cost efficient black toner, except :-
You have to watch the empty status carefully, they regularly tell you they are empty with 20% still to go, and
If you want to print in colour, it goes up to over 4p.
My ink costs for colour are 2p per page.
BTW, do you want to contact them and point out that not only have they calculated cost per page ****-backwards, but they also misplaced the decimal point??
You are wrong, once Lexmark won a court case in Europe against 3rd party refillers* a few years ago, the prices for toner refills went up massively; 2-5p per page of text is now common for cheap lasers, and although text quality is very good, they are not so hot on pictures. You can still get 3rd party imports from China, but even these are more expensive than they were - unless you order direct from a Chinese seller, and quality is variable; the last set I bought for work, they leaked everywhere - the inside of the printer looked like a rainbow had exploded in there. This was a HP colour laser, where prior to the Lexmark win, the refills worked out at 2p per page for black text, and 7p per page afterwards.
Incidentally, my inkjet costs about 0.5p per page for text, using the genuine ink carts.
* It was the chips used to make the 3rd party toners work they they were suing over, as they bypassed the attempts to force customers to use only genuine ink.

Obviously a mis-price as someone mistakenly subtracted the cashback amount from the net price after cashback, so double counted the cashback. Interesting to see whether they honour any orders.

cost to print per page significantly lower than an inkjet. I bought one of these a few years ago and the first thing I did was calculate the cost per page. The only cheaper one was a dell which they dont sell any more. Of course, things could have changed since I bought ... but would be surprised if it were more expensive to print with this than an inkjet... and the results on this will be way better than any ink squirter.

Love my ink squirter to bits and compatible carts about £1 each. Downsides are head cleaning 3-5 times if it's left for a month before printing a photo and constant disappearing act from network. It is tempting to change at this price though!

Interesting!
I mainly print in B/W, but the benefits of the colour as well seem great, but the lack of scanning/photocopying facilities is slightly off-putting; but hey! It's only £25!

You are looking at £70 for a set of compatible toners. Wired network only. Good price for the hardware but beware of running costs.

Good deal. A quick scan shows that a full set of toners appear to be around £70 on ebay. Or around £22.50 per colour.
