This was £499 in the January sales.
Appreciate folks don't have a time machine but still...
Beware the "was £899 SAVE £330" nonsense.
Yes it was £899. For two weeks. At an artificially high price. So Currys can offer an artificial discount.
Here's my version:
"Was £499 in winter when you were a bit skint. NOW PAY AN EXTRA £70 because it's summer and you want a cold beer."

Interesting that you obviously disdain Trump, yet you spout the same kind of xenophobic nonsense he does. You'd probably be mates.

This a good deal and best price.... My wife has been going on about getting one of these for ages confused
Am I right in thinking ideally a plumbed in one is best. Redoing our kitchen soon and need something like this

If you can, plumb in a water line. They do a model that makes ice and chills water from the supply with a filter.

Definitely the way to go, fresh water and no messing about filling it up

Yes 100% I was going to post on here to say, in my opinion, plumbed in, is the only way.
We have one with the indoor tank, it is a faff after a while. You fill it up a few times, then forget about it. You have to clean it, it takes up space, just a faff.
I would much prefer a method where you could attach 2 1 litre bottles upside down, or it had a britta filter.
It just ends up a gimmick.
My brother has plumbed in, which is much much better (though probably costs more)

I got one of these... Bought from currys 2 years ago for £599. Great units. Althought they can get a tad loud while cooling down at periods of the day.
Recently moved home and of all our furniture - This was by far the heaviest and most awkward, having to take 2 internal doors off and back door to be able to get it out of the house (thats how big it is), the handles arent standard clip on/off handles, which contributes to the difficulty of getting it in and out of a home... Its in my garage in the new house because there is no way Im attempting getting it into a house again!!

I love this kind of insight/info on an item, thanks. You have literally preempted two questions I was going to ask, 1. is it loud (yes) 2. is it big/heavy (yes) - I'm probably moving home in the next year. THANKS AGAIN :stuck_out_tongue: I am currently making do with a smaller fridge freezer combo (it's only around 5ft). It is a bit noisy, so that would have sealed the deal for me if this was quieter. I shall deal with it until next year or whenever I move.

We have just bought an American Samsung fridge freezer. If it wasn't such a nightmare to get in the house and upstairs to kitchen it would be going back. The noise it makes, while not particularly loud is horrible, really high pitched and can be heard over every over every other appliance in the kitchen. Had to do it down as well and put sponge around a cooling pipe to stop it rattling. Also the plastic foot moulding is very poor quality. Not good for a £1200 unit. Won't be buying Samsung white good ever again.

I would have Trump run this country in 10 seconds flat! Think we would be paying the leave the EU, nope! Think we would be taking in economic migrants from Calais, nope! Think we would pay benefit claimants more than teachers, nurses and doctors, nope!

Nope. Samsung products are rubbish - had a Samsung TV, two phones and a fridge freezer and problems with all of them - not buying any more from them. The plastics in the Samsung fridge freezer are brittle and several trays have cracked just with normal use after a couple of years, in fact the salad compartment flap needed replacing after a couple of months. Never Samsung again.

Wouldn't touch their American fridge freezers with a barge pole. Had nothing but problems with the one I had. It kept freezing the fan, which stopped it from working. Look online and there a loads of people that had the same problems which Samsung wouldn't admit liability for.

I have this in graphite grey - coming up for nine years old. I think the model number is slightly different but it's identical inside and out - It was £700 back then.
The water dispenser is infuriating, but only because I'm the only f***er in this house who bothers to fill it up!
It's been a good fridge/freezer.

Been after one of these American fridge freezers for ages now. Samsung seem to have this market sewn up. The differences in prices though is quite mind boggling as they all look so similar. I'll keep my eye out for a Sammy that can be plumbed in

You can get it back into and out of any house u simple need to remove the doors on it I have just replaced my black Samsung which lasted 8-9 years not a single fault until the compressor packed in on it now.... I removed the doors on the old one took it out the kitchen via back door... This is the best part curry's delivered my new American Samsung FF outside in my back GARDEN saying they won't take it inside... So I took the doors off the new one myself and took it in too be aware of them trying to wiggle out of having to take it inside because they know they have to remove the doors
I'm a 5'5 short guy and if I managed to do it twice on two FF's I think anybody can

Just had a massive kitchen-diner and went for the plumbed in version, don't need to keep refilling water and dispenses ice (cubed or crushed). Pay for the extra if you can, is worth it, although will need to account for it needing plumbing in.

Some valid points. But with trump you would also be going to those very EU countries for medical care due to lack thereof here because you cant afford private medical care. No retirement assistance, gun ho police and zero corporate tax with a country arming the most notorious countries and rebels like isis and Israel.
I think you should move to America to be with Trump, oh yeah they dont give citizenship to UK members so at most it'll be a working vacation before your glad to be back in this great country.
Have you been America? They have a waaay bigger migrant ratio than us.
Graham1979
25 Jul 17#40
I don't need retirement assistance or have to worry about private medical care because I earn enough to pay for my own retirement and health insurance, I can walk along a high street in the UK and 80% of the people I walk past are on some form of financial benefit.
Do you think the USA would have migration problems if they had an NHS and a welfare state that paid for everything from birth to death? The border would be a wall 50ft high.
Israel a terrorist or beacon of democracy surrounded on all sides by the darkness! Israel is a center of technology, medicine, literature, the arts, manufacturing and so on. They have to have boys and girls in their late teens carry machine guns on the beach in case the religion of love and peace sends a child suicide bomber or old woman with a knife to murder people. Israel might not be perfect but their citizens would be slain in the streets where as if the murdering Palestinian people forced the Palestinian terrorists put their weapons down there would be peace, trade, economic growth and their own state as the world could not deny them it.

So by your judgement 80% of the uk are on welfare lol... either that or with your well paid job you need to move and shop in a area with with like minded morons like you. Or better yet go back to your "motherland" and occupy a illegal settlement and point your water pistol at those well armed kids holding stones.
