£2 more than the lightning deal posted 6 months ago (this is not a lightning deal), but is still cheap for the new cable.
Useful bit of kit, and its at a cheap price again on Amazon.
Deal for those without time machines.

Excellent manufacturer
I have an active USB3.0 repeater from them (the only one on the market that seems to work with Kinect), as well as the adapter in this deal (albeit USB3.1 "gen 2" to SATA). I think I bought it on a lightning deal.
I hooked it up to my USB3.1 port on my mobo and to a samsung 850 pro, and DAAAAAM* it's fast. Best USB-to-SATA adapter I've ever used. Highly recommend.

I bought them from the lightning deal aswell (2 in fact). Literally they are infinitely useful when upgrading your drive, better than any caddie, without the faff. I honestly can't say enough about them, shame they don't work with 3.5'' drives (for obvious power reasons).

What's the chip in these, a JMS567? If so they're capable of pretty much maxing out USB 3

Don't know but they have UASP and I got something near the max theoretical transfer speed (SATA 6Gb/s) on my USB 3.1 adapter. Funny that SATA is now the limiting factor on transfer speeds. The NAND flash is (or can be) faster, as is the USB3.1 interface (even with with overhead of USB)

Think the power connector is 3.5/1.35mm.
Shows as 8.99 non-prime for me
