yes its usually the outbound flight is £9.99 then a return within 2 weeks of it is the 'usual' price, so a fairly good price but nothing amazing

Thanks OP. My other half lives in London so booked a few sets of flights In October and November from BFS to LGW for £20.38 all in with card fees. Bargain cause I usually pay approx £60 return and other time of the year.

If you're travelling with someone make sure you pick to choose your seats cuz they'll purposely seat you apart to squeeze you for more.

I agree, can't see why families need to sit together if it's going to cost that much to reserve seats
Airlines must seat parents with younger children free of charge - not sure what Ryanair's age limit is but for BA it's the under 12s

£9.99 tickets sold out really quick. This offer started yesterday and was originally posted on Holiday Pirates.

Irritating to see our flight from Faro to Bristol in October selling at just £9.99 when I paid £30.99 just a few weeks ago. You win some, you lose some I suppose, but these Ryanair flash sales can be as irritating for some as they are good news for others. Will remind myself not to look again after booking flights in future. Lesson learnt. :disappointed:

Ryanair now split passengers up, even if seats together are available if you don't pay the "ransom" of paying to choose seats. It doesnt bother me I dont have young children but beware, to choose seats together will cost £13 each way per person for most seats
in airport terms, anything within an hour of central London is 'London'

Ryanair new policy is that if you don't reserve your seats you will be allocated middle seats. When questioned they stated that the aisle and window seats are more desirable and are kept available until the last moment for those wishing to pay for the better seat.
Personally I think they have realised that this is a revenue stream that they have missed out on by sitting families together for free. Hard to argue as I take advantage of the cheap seats and I want the business to make money so I can get these cheap flights. I will have to see how flush I am feeling the next time I book.

Yep, the upshot of Ryanair's new free seat allocation policy introduced in May is that unless you pay to sit together from now on, you will have absolutely no chance of sitting next to anyone on the same booking as you.
