I picked up an EVGA 1060 SC 6GB that was barely two months old from the Avforums classified section for £195.. The 3yr warranty is with EVGA so worked out quite a bargain considering the recent price increase.. Might be worth a look in there if you're not too fussed about second hand,.. https://www.avforums.com/forums/computer-classifieds.243/

Yup absolutely terrible "deal" and an awful time to buy gpu-s :disappointed: which sucks since im in a need of one.
Ok thanks no worries. I know some cards give full game codes instead. I got Total War Warhammer Steam key with my amd card...so sadly dont qualify here :disappointed:

That's good! I did read Amazons terms and they excluded marketplace sales well in haha.

I got this with my Graphics card - 1050 a few weeks ago. :-)

It's a geforce code; exactly the same as you'd get if you had a purchase that qualified for the OPs deal.
Redemption process is the same; install geforce experience client; create account; redeem geforce code; link account to steam; receive game.
And yes, you need a qualifying gpu.

If its just a steam code does it matter on the gpu?
Assuming you got just a steam code and not an nvidia activation thing.

If you've got a link for that I would like it. Cheapest I can see on eBay is £9 atm. And the last few times I've checked it's been that price. Waiting for it to get lower to justify buying it.

If you have a qualifying gpu (1050/1050ti/1060), but don't have a code - you can pick one up for 99p on ebay.
I just did, and redeemed fine.
Not quite free, but damn close.

Hmm, I bought a (used) Palit 1060 from Amazon warehouse back in early June.
I take it there would have been a redemption code included with the card (or delivered soon after by email) if it were an eligible purchase?

Hey, this promo is covered by a few retailers
Worth a look around though and I don't think Amazon always get in on the free game promotions (From memory) So that's good to see for sure.

The EVGA SC 6GB was also £215 around the same time, now it's around the £250 mark.
