How is this 7.1? Is it virtualised or are there actually 8 speakers inside?

It's a virtual surround but works pretty well. In games like CS:GO I find it easier to locate shooting direction than with my external surround speakers.
Anybody who says "terrible headset" likely hasn't used it.

Terrible headset and the price is not amazing, they are routinely at this price, ignore the inflated rrp. I returned mine and got a pair of HyperX instead, so much better.

You didn't buy these.

I figured stuff like headsets were never actually 'used', rather the warehouse sales being for end of life products and damaged packaging. I've had a headset from warehouse and it was brand new and unopened. Guess I was lucky
I ordered a Logitech G930 last time on the warehouse and arrived in fine condition, almost new! However lke you said, it is a bit of a gamble but everyhting i've ordered from the warehouse has been in good condition

Headphones are a big gamble with the warehouse. I got these a few months ago... the battery was knackered, the head band was totally snapped, they stank of smoke and were stinking dirty. Makes me shudder imagining what creature had been using them.
Be aware that you'll find the same thing repeatedly with Amazon sales. Their RRPs are bogus, and so are most of the discounts.

Reminder that no pro willingly uses razer gear, aside from the odd mouse

Utter bargain to be had if you don't mind buying them used. £43.38, which goes down to £34.70 at checkout thanks to the 20% off warehouse stuff. Down to nearly half the price of new! They are listed as used very good. I'm normally not fussy about used stuff but I personally wouldn't for headphones. Still extremely low price if you don't mind used and as with all Amazon Warehouse stuff sometimes the used stuff isn't even used at all but personally not taking the risk as I've spent a tonne on prime day already but definitely a potential bargain there....

Used headset? Ew! Pay the extra for something you are going to wear on your head.
