Dispatched and sold by Amazon, not a dodgy third party seller.
Design classic, the original Ray Ban wayfarer is available for just £63.41, a big saving on the £125 price direct from Ray Ban.
Features: lens diameter: 54 mm 100% UV protection, tinted lenses.
Now £62.94, the cheapest they've ever been on Amazon.

Never felt the same about Ray Ban since B&L flogged them off to Luxottica, however it's a decent price so heated.

id be wary if buying these as it says demo lens's this normally is on glasses where you need to replace with your own prescription. Although it does say it has uv protection but possibly they have to have that for eu laws but could be cheap lens's

Just a word of warning, although they may be official from Amazon they are not an authorised reseller and warranty repairs are not honoured through ray-ban, you have to fight Amazon for a partial/full refund

Yeah the lenses aren't as branded as they used to be since Luxottica took over. But, they know that the name sells. They could stick Asda smart price lenses in them for all the consumers knows and they'd still sell for silly money, because they're Ray Ban.

So true, I have some original B&L and they look fantastic. I had never heard of Ray-Ban but rushed out and bought a pair after seeing Clint Eastwood in "The Gauntlet" because I wanted to look as cool as him. Sigh, happy days.

I seem to recall they had ray ban wayfarers cheaper but they were the 'Justin' ones which had the rubbery feel to them.
Anyway, they're all still overpriced!

They were this price the other day on the Sunglasses shop site for World Sunglasses Day - 27th June, this is a belated price match from Amazon. Also Wayfarers have been cheaper on Amazon, as low as £40ish but this happens very rarely.

According to camelcamelcamel.co.uk, this is the cheapest they've been, at least in this size and colour.
Spreading nonsense ????? I simply voiced my opinion. Very 2016 I will waiting until they come back into fashion next time round but you knock yourself out

£62.94 -> £62.92 -> £62.87 -> £62.84
Give it a few hours and they'll be sub £50!

I would guess it's purely a stock issue. When a certain number of sales are reached, the price will creep back up.

If i link to the page directly it shows as more, but if you search for it on Google it's currently showing as £73, clicking on that takes you to the reduced price.

According to this yahoo post demo lenses are "cheap formica lenses" and aren't meant to be worn. They might be ok, but then they might not be UV compliant etc. if they're just for show in the shop?

Yes 54mm is larger for bigger heads. 50mm is the standard size

I believe they are lenses fitted to frames in opticians to demonstrate how a pair of glasses look with lenses in them. They are not designed to be worn.
I don't think it relevant to these sunglasses
