Can anyone who already owns this commented on how long the quoted 200mAh battery lasts for in terms of recording time and/or standby time when motion detecting?

1 hour... Plus... It's crap. Not worth the £6.99 I paid for it. At best it's a novelty item for a Kid.

It lasts about 30 minutes the first time you use it, then it never works again
Bought one last time and I took it apart after getting a refund, found the neutral wire wasn't actually connected to the main board, was just hanging loose.
I soldered it back on and managed to get it charging again, used it twice and now it wont power on. Charges fine as I tested on my multi-meter but nothing when powering on.
Pretty useless, think it gets too hot which is why it fails

With some good double sided tape it's small enough to be a "Bowlcam"
Seriously, there's a review on Amazon (I think) where someone has posted some good instructions they've worked out. Can't look for it now as on the train.

Is this camera suitable to put in garden to film wildlife? It would be a present for parents so they could look at hedgehog and birds,I haven't a clue,I take it it's wireless and they could watch on tablet

Its not wireless, they would have to put the micro SD card (not included) into the tablet or download the movie files. Its also not waterproof, so you would have to be careful of placement.
According to the specs, it does have motion control - the camera activates when motion is detected.
Check YouTube for reviews and check quality and battery life is good enough for you.

My mate bought one to film dogs and seems happy. Says it's good in low light too.

I thought it was a fidget cube at first glance lol
These things are awful. I bought one and the hassle to get it working is just not worth it, it's one of those deals where you have about two buttons that both do a hundred different things based on how long you press them and in what context. You'll regret not spending an extra tenner to get a tiny camera with a touch screen so you can figure out exactly what's going on!

If you want a wildlife camera which is easy for technophobic parents to use then I suspect you'll have to pay rather more.
