Not sure if available online but in store Home Bargains currently have these 10 packs for £1 each. Seems like a bargain to me. Hope it helps someone

Bought some branded packs of 16 AAA zinc from Poundland and agree that they're rubbish.

If they are zinc carbon, then they're not even worth £1. They need to be the alkaline type.
For comparison, a zinc carbon "D" size battery (yes, the massive one) would contain a similar useful amount of power as a single AA alkaline.

I'll stick to 6 packs of Poundland battery versions, the alkaline type equivalent. These Zinc Type long life simply dont cut the mustard for use and I've had them leak destroying the contacts several times. In my Apple mouse Zinc's were lasting a week, with alkaline 2 months.

I've no idea why it says tesco. it wouldn't let me enter anything.

These are always this price at home bargains, do not much of a deal unless you only have a tesco near you.
