On offer from their original price of £4.99. Seems a good price for a decent wattage Philips LED bulb. Click and collect or free next day delivery on orders over £50

Exactly the colour you need, you don't want a cold white at night, it'll ruin your sleep.

Do you like the other one? (the bright white), that's a little too industrial and un-natural for me - ok for kitchen bench lighting but not for the lounge. This is the normal colour that is closest to the old fashioned filament bulbs.

Guys if I ever would be buying led bulbs for a room it would only be 100w equivalent or more. What a difference compared to all them 50w, 75w its like night and day, rooms look more live and I don't get so much eye strain. Now need to wait till there will be some wireless ones available compatible (dimmable) with all them alexa etc...
Hot deal like if you after 75w

Agreed, a bit disappointing to see 11W giving just a 75W equivalent, and that is light that is not 360 degrees, as we were used with the old type bulbs.
We are now all compromising on the light quality and quantity with these CFP and LED bulbs.
Apparently, a 13W LED will be closer to a 100W incandescent bulb

Not in stock for delivery. Not in stock for click and collect in any area I tried...

This lamp is 1055 Lm lumens is 11W @£2.69 and is A+
link These bulbs are 1030lm but only 8W @ £6.24 each and is A++
So you pay more for more efficient bulb that costs less to run. How many months or years difference that is, i'm not sure how to work that out, as these bulbs are meant to last very long

I've got a few of the Philips 100W eqv and they are solid bulbs, nice warm colour too, the cold ones are horrid, make a room look like a surgery
but none of the Screwfix's near me have stock, so this is just another BS deal really,
voted hot just in case you have better luck, but the OP really should declare where he found some in stock because I can't find a single store that has any.

I ordered 13 for next day delivery, not in store collection. If I wanted click and collect it was showing next day (ie. not in stock but they will ship it in). For reference this was the Peterborough store.
Oh, and I don't really think its BS if enough people managed to get some that they ran out, is it....

Those are Chinese bulbs, any spec they quote is because the numbers magically add up to their favourite lucky number, rather than any Engineering spec sheet.
Buy one and test it yourself, but I reckon the Chinese ones will be noticeably dimmer.
I can confirm that the Philips are easily 75W eqv.

cold ones are class for garages or workshop. run 3x led bulbs over my bench in cold white.

A big problem with LED filament lights is that they shine hardly anything downwards, because the filaments are almost end-on. This makes them unsuitable for most pendant light fittings.

Well yeh, that's why I voted hot because I'm not an a-hole, and asked you to give your area, then at least everyone in Peterborough will get some, but it's still a BS "Tesco goosechase" deal because pretty much nobody else will.
It's just one of those things that marketing departments like to do to boost site clicks

probably right
led gu10 bulbs 1 in 20 failed quiet quickly within warranty, so got replacements
Have used about 15, 6W BC bulbs now, for over 12 months and non have failed yet and non were dead on arrival, also got a gu10 bulb (megaman) brand in a hard to reach place which has been running for about 3 years
I think it will take years before I find out. But I read it was the on off cycle that can affect the bulbs the most. And possibly if you have higher voltage (240 instead of 230v ) might affect the bulbs.

the screwfix 9w 60w five packs at £2 a bulb. Basic but reliable.

or the 13w Philips 100w bulbs from b&q in three packs for £15. Expensive but the cheapest deal that actually works...
