No. More's the pity. I think they work out about 800 lumen IIRC.

Bought this last week with the motion detection sensor. This appears to be a slightly better deal. Oh well.
I must say, being able to voice control the lounge lights with Echo is the schizz. And with two pendants dangling in the lounge you can have some cool scene setting going on.

Can anyone tell me if this has motion sensor built in?

No it doesn't. This is a separate component named the Hue Motion Sensor. You can get one (and only 1) for £17.99 on Amazon today. Normally about £33.

Just bought the echos and some generic wifi bulbs for £20, can anyone explain why the hue is better? I don't mind paying the extra if it's necessary

I got the previous deal too. But I haven't even opened the delivery box yet. Returning it costs £3.99. which still makes this new deal a few quid cheaper.

Knew I should've held out another week - didn't think they'd beat the £119 starter kit/motion detector deal! At least I've consoled myself by purchasing some half-price bulbs instead...

Me too, I wanted the sensors thought so if you factor the cost of them in too it's a pretty similar deal.
